A great "side effect" of this is now our high schoolers can find jobs!! This will keep them busy and out of trouble. Plus, they will spend their money HERE IN THE USA, and not send it to Mexico, like the illegals do. This is a win-win for our kids and our economy! (Not to mention what a financial relief it will be for their parents.
LOL)

That's a good point about their departure freeing up jobs. As the illegal population in my area increased, it got harder and harder for my teens to find work. Also people down on their luck, needing to get some money coming in, will find it easier.

11-18-2007, 04:05 PM #13Going to be hard for them to say attrition won't work now!! At least he is smart enough to go back and not head for another state."I don't have papers that show I can work legally, so I won't be able to work," he said. "And I can't work, then I've lost the reason for being here. My only option is to go back" to Mexico. Please support ALIPAC's fight to save American Jobs & Lives from illegal immigration by joining our free Activists E-Mail Alerts (CLICK HERE)

11-18-2007, 04:16 PM #14Where in the Constitution is it written that illegal aliens should be able to work in America?Businesses groups, however, asked a federal judge Wednesday to toss out the law, arguing that it is unconstitutional and invites racial profiling.
What makes it "asking for racial profiling" when illegal aliens do not have proper identification to show that they are here legally to work?
That is just crazy.

Hooray for Arizona!
Finally the states are coming around on their own and beginning to fight the government who will do nothing to follow our laws written long ago on the matter of the huge influx of illegal immigrants that we have had to support for years with our tax dollars while they sent a large part of their money home! We have provided shelter, food stamps, health care, jobs, plus numerous other pluses, and taken away from our own to give to them! I live in Oklahoma and since the new (No help for illegals) law went into effect Nov. 1st you rarely see a mexican here now. Most you do see are young and were born under the right to citizenship birth law, which should have been abolished years ago! My brother in Dallas says they are now seeing lots of cars with Ok. license tags on them so they have left by the thousands and are running to other states where they can apply for help! Hopefully every state will follow suit soon and the problem will solve itself! Mexico doesn't want us and we damn sure don't want them!!!!!!!!!!!

Koren said she is afraid her company will be targeted because many of her workers and drivers are Latino immigrants. But she said only 17 of her workers are official employees. The company's 100 drivers are considered independent contractors, so they are exempt from filling out the I-9 form, Koren said.
Does this sound like a loophole big enough for a 4 engine train?
I didn't realize that 'contract' workers were going to be exempt. Most illegals I know work as contract workers.
Why do I think that everyone will not be some kind of 'contract' employee. I'm glad they have the law, but why didn't they make it cover these people?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

11-20-2007, 01:12 PM #17The IRS doesn't permit anyone or everyone to file as a contract employee. Although some companies use this "potential" loophole so they ned not withhold taxes. The full burdon is on the contract employee.

Obviously enforcement is working and need to be done nationwide.
Racial profiling my butt! Since the activists only talk about profiling hispanics I will keep on that thought. If a hispanic is here legally, he/she has nothing to worry about. If he/she is here illegally, then they get fired. IT'S THE LAW!
Last I checked, documents have no race. Employers are checking documents of EVERY employee and if your documents seem fake or missing, buy-bye and rightly so.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
