Brazilian woman deported from Arizona by feds

PHOENIX (AP) — A woman wanted in a child trafficking investigation in her native Brazil has been turned over to federal authorities in that country by U.S. immigration enforcement officials in Phoenix.
Authorities say 47-year-old Vania Maria Plasse has been held in immigration detention in Arizona since Jan. 12, 2011. She was arrested by Border Patrol agents after illegally crossing the southern Arizona border near Nogales.
In April 2011, Arizona immigration officials were notified that Brazilian authorities had issued an arrest warrant for Plasse in a child trafficking probe.
Plasse, of Governador Valaderes, was deported to Brazil aboard a commercial aircraft under escort by U.S. officials. She was turned over to Brazilian authorities at Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo on Wednesday morning.

Just another poor immigrant coming for a better life. If they hadn't stopped her and she had gotten in, she wouldn't have been deported until she committed felonies here. Great job. JMO

I thought all the Illegal Aliens came from the Country of Mexico? Isn't that what everyone is telling us? Where have I been to miss this important information that Illegal Aliens are coming from countries other than Mexico?

Well, I guess that is the last deportation that will happen in AZ with Fed assistance--doesn't their help mean they have to take a call? Nice to know the administration is fine with child trafficking.
