Comprehensive Immigration Reform ALERT!
If you live in Georgia, please be careful about who you vote for in the Senate race. I just watched the debate. The top contender Jim Martin (D) just said that he would be for comprehensive immigration reform when asked right out by the commentator. This would be a big switch for Georgia since Chambliss and Isakson have both been against it. The other contenders : 2nd place Vernon Jones didn't really answer but he said that the borders and rule of law must be secured before anything else is done. 3rd place Dale Cardwell said right out "no."
Martin has a very strong lead right now according to the polls, and I don't think most Georgians know his stance on illegal immigration. I didn't until today.

Does Martin have a lead in the Dem primary, or against either Chambliss or Isakson?

Here is Martin's website. http://www.martinforsenate.com/about/jim_martin.html
He came out of no where. One of the other contenders said that he got a lot of special interest monies and he's ahead due to the TV ad campaign blitz.
Populist- I don't know where he stands against Chambliss; it's just the Democratic Primary
Gogo- Good advice; I'll contact the Dustin Inman Society

I'm going to have to hold my nose and vote for Saxby Chambliss.
Especially since obamination's going to be the next president, I figure Saxby and Johnny Isaakson will have no problem fighting against a Democrat's amnesty plan.

Thanks for the info.
I don't live in Georgia, but I know that Paul Broun is running for reelection for Congress there. He seems strong against illegal immigration, so from what I've read, hope he wins the primary.
