I absolutely agree about using machines, that's what I meant by modernizing. The machines already exist and are used all over the world.

Don't see why farms won't use machines over illegal alien labor. Wait...is it because the illegals are cheaper than the machines and taxpayers are burdened with subsidizng them?
I've done farm labor and it is back-breaking work, that's why no one wants to do it, including illegal aliens. That's why I cannot comprehend why machines aren't used more unless it's because of greed.
