Dominican prostitute: Senator Bob Menendez ‘likes the youngest and newest girls’
Dominican prostitute: Senator Bob Menendez ‘likes the youngest and newest girls’
1:30 AM 01/31/2013
In a little-noticed email published online Wednesday by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a young Dominican woman wrote nine months ago that she slept with 59-year-old New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez at a series of sex parties organized by Dr. Salomon Melgen, a longtime Menendez campaign donor.
“That Senator also likes the youngest and newest girls,” the woman wrote on April 21, 2002, according to an English translation provided to The Daily Caller by a native Spanish speaker.
“In the beginning he seemed so serious, because he never spoke to anyone, but he is just like the others and has just about the same tastes as the doctor, very refined. I think they were taking us more often to get us checked [medically] because of him.”
TheDC is not disclosing the woman’s name because she may have been a minor when her alleged sexual encounters with Menendez occurred. Four different Spanish speakers who reviewed TheDC’s translation of her letter all said her Spanish writing indicated someone who was very young and unsophisticated.
CREW chose to publish her name, despite her concerns for her safety.

“I do not want to have problems with those people,” she wrote, adding that she believed “I can trust you, that you will help us, and that nothing bad will happen to the other young girls, to me, or to my family.”
“The thing that worries me the most is that if they know that I spoke with someone they will find me,” she added.
The young woman wrote that she was recruited as an escort from an adult escort service called the Doll Palace, and that the code word “chocolate” would summon her and other girls to Melgen’s sex parties. She offered specific recollections of Melgen’s preferred pimp, the homes where she slept with his house guests for money, and the phone number her calls would come from.
Her account of the sex parties Menendez allegedly attended in the Dominican Republic is the most detailed to surface since TheDC first began reporting on the story in November.
She told her story to a tipster who forwarded the email to CREW; it was not included with the cache of documents he published online on Jan. 24. TheDC was first to report on that dossier about Sen. Menendez, which included an interview transcript in which a different women claimed she was 16 when she began sleeping with him.
That young prostitute said she had sex with Menendez “three times at least” in 2009. “The first one in February, and then in May and June. I recall his visit in June so well because that month was my 17th birthday.”
The woman whose email CREW released on Wednesday also recalled a sexual encounter with Menendez near her birthday, but said hers was in a different month.
“The first time I saw him was more than three years ago at the beginning of March, because it was around my birthday,” she wrote.

Reid punts on Bob Menendez question as prostitution scandal deepens
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told reporters Thursday that he would not answer questions about how Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez is handling accusations that he slept with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic.
Susan Davis, a USA Today reporter, tweeted Thursday afternoon that Reid referred questions about the scandal to Menendez himself, saying, “Any questions in this regard, direct to him. I don’t know anything about it.”
Davis said Reid was asked a question about a revelation Wednesday, first reported by WNBC-TV4 in New York City, that Menendez wrote a personal check to reimburse Dr. Salomon Melgen for private jet travel to the Dominican Republic.

The FBI raided Melgen’s flagship eye clinic in South Florida on Tuesday night in what an FBI source told The Daily Caller is an inquiry related to Menendez. The Miami Herald, however, reported Wednesday night that the raid also may be part of a Medicare fraud investigation.
Fox News Radio reporter Jared Halpern added on Twitter that Reid also called Menendez “my friend and an outstanding senator.”
On Tuesday Reid was more combative and actively protected Menendez, lashing out at TheDC for reporting on the allegations against the New Jersey Democrat.

“I always consider the source,” Reid said, referring to TheDC, “and all anyone here has to look at is the source where this comes from. It’s — it’s a source that has brought up a lot of non-issues.”
Asked later for clarification, Reid’s office confirmed that he was attacking TheDC.
But on Thursday it was news outlets other than TheDC peppering Reid with questions.
Politico wrote that Reid cut off one question about whether Menendez had informed him he was reimbursing Melgen for his Dominican travel.
“That’s all I’m going to say,” Reid responded tersely, according to Politico. “I’m not going to say anything.”
Cox Radio reporter Jamie Dupree tweeted that Reid ignored one final question that a reporter asked at the end of his press conference: “Will Sen. Menendez be the next chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee?”
Menendez has not officially taken over the chairman’s gavel of that powerful committee, but he is expected to in coming weeks.
Democratic Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is expected to vacate that chairmanship and resign his Senate seat to become secretary of state. The full Senate confirmed his nomination to that post on Tuesday.

In another article it was mentioned that Dr. Salomon Melgen also contributed to Harry Reid. I wonder if old Harry took any trips with him.

MENENDEZ DONOR MELGEN FINANCED CLINTONS, WASSERMAN SCHULTZ, GOP POLS
by MATTHEW BOYLE
31 Jan 2013
Federal Election Commission records show that Dr. Salomon Melgen, the Miami ophthalmologist connected to New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez’s alleged prostitution scandal, has financed several high-ranking politicians from both political parties.
Over the years, Melgen and his wife Flor donated $2,000 to former President Bill Clinton and another $4,700 to outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s various campaigns. Melgen donated $3,000 to Hugh Rodham, Hillary’s brother, for his unsuccessful 1994 Senate campaign, and $1,000 to Al Gore’s failed 2000 bid for president.
Melgen and his wife together donated $9,600 to former Florida Democratic Rep. Kendrick Meek’s failed 2010 run for U.S. Senate. Bill Clinton infamously supported Meek in that race, a three-way campaign between then-Gov. Charlie Crist and the race’s ultimate winner, Marco Rubio. Meek was widely expected to lose that race, but Clinton supported him anyway.
The Melgens have donated $8,000 total to Minnesota Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar in recent cycles, $2,000 to New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer in 1998, and $9,600 to Democratic National Committee chairwoman and Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Melgen has supported Republicans, too. He and his wife donated $10,000 to Florida Republican Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart over the years and $9,800 to his fellow Florida Republican, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.
Ros-Lehtinen was the House Foreign Affairs Committee chairwoman last Congress—she was replaced this Congress by California Republican Rep. Ed Royce—and would have, if she stayed in the spot, technically been Menendez’s House counterpart. With Massachusetts Democratic Sen. John Kerry being confirmed as the next U.S. Secretary of State, Menendez took over as the Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman.
Interestingly, Melgen also donated $250 to former Florida Republican Rep. Mark Foley. Foley resigned in September 2006 after allegations surfaced that he had sent sexually suggestive emails and instant messages to underage male congressional pages.
All of the above politicians either didn’t respond to a Breitbart News request for comment Wednesday evening, or were unreachable by publication time.
