FL:Three Guatemalans get seven years in gang rape case

Three Guatemalans get seven years in gang rape case

    Tuesday, July 17, 2007

Three migrant farmworkers facing life in prison opted to plead no contest Tuesday to charges they kidnapped an Immokalee teenager 1-1/2 years ago and then gang-raped her while her husband and baby slept in a trailer just yards away.

The plea bargain ensures the woman won’t have to testify, see the men again or be portrayed as a prostitute — and that the men won’t face the possibility of life in prison. René Perez Garcia, 23, Mario Lopez Luis, 20, and Alvarado Perez Luis, 21, were sentenced to seven years in a state prison and then will be deported to Guatemala.

There, they will be free men — after being behind bars since their Oct. 1, 2005, arrest.

    Hi Dragonfire,

How much of that 7 years will they have to serve? About 20% maybe? Watch for a full presidential pardon around the end of the year.

    Light sentence?
    Early parole?
    Presidential pardon?

Word will quickly spread throughout Mexico and Central America!

Isn't this the [relative] diplomatic immunity the illegals enjoy?

No stranger to felony murder, crimes like this warm Sen. Kennedy's heart!
    what heart?

What part of "We don't owe our jobs to India" are you unable to understand, Senator?

The story said they would have to serve about 85%....

I know an American woman who "sold' her 14 year old daughters "services" for $100 a pop to illegals. She lived with an illegal that was deported....she went to the border and brought him back. Now both her son and daughter are with illegals and she is grandma to 6 more.

Authorities in Florida would do nothing about nothing!!!
