BOULDER (AP) - Former Mexican President Vicente Fox is scheduled to speak at the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Fox plans to give his perspective on the state of the world in a speech April 13. He has been invited by the Distinguished Speakers Board, a student organization at the university. His speech is titled "Surveying the Geo-Political Landscape" and will touch on the relationship between the United States and Latin America, the United Nations and the promises of globalization.
There will be an answer and question session.
Fox was president of Mexico from 2000 to 2006. His election as a member of the conservative National Action Party ended 71 years of control of the presidency by the Institutional Revolutionary Party.
