Thread: Minuteman Project to rally in Greensboro (canceled?)

I was at the Greensboro rally, the one that was canceled!? I thorough enjoyed myself. We were very peaceful with some burst of shouting between the International Socialist idiots and some of the our demonstrators....

I was happy to see men and women of different ages at the rally. There were also several of us were of different races and ethnic origins. Yet the Socialist would yell Nazis, KKK, killers, their favorite was racist!?

What's up with that????

The Socialist group look more like a Neo-Nazi initiation group then a bunch of anti-Minutemen protesters. I only saw one African-American with a bull horn shouting and chanting. All the rest were "very" white under 25 extremely liberal, public university brain washed trouble makers! Like they were there to try to pick a fight with us!? I was totally bewildered!!!
They are American citizens too!!! We were only standing up for their future!? They are so stupid!

My question is, where were the Illegal Aliens???

I wish the very best and God speed to the Minutemen and hope that our politicians take notice

Did the rally take place at a different location? A couple of articles claimed it was canceled because the owner of the furniture warehouse didn't want the minutemen around.

Yes it was there, though we unofficially were not suppose to rally there. The police showed up and said that we could stay as long as it was peaceful and the owner would ask us to leave at any time. The Socialist were trying to coax us into starting a serious "rumble" I guess it was their tactical way of getting us out of the area....

Also, another dirty thing that these Socialist did was the fact that they found out where the original rally was going to be and then beat the Minutemen to obtain a demonstration permit in order to block the Minutemen from getting that permit. So the Minutemen went driving around Greensboro trying to find a location to hold a rally. It was so sad!!

We should return such "generosity" to the Socialist....email them "thank you (hate)" messages and sharing our "bird flu" with their servers!?

Minutemen supporters, opposition protest in Greensboro

(GREENSBORO) - A national group that organizes armed citizen patrols of the US-Mexico border staged a rally in Greensboro Wednesday night.

The Minuteman group and its supporters were met by protesters who were members of the International Socialist Organization. The two groups chanted and shouted obscenities.

The protest almost didn't happen. The owner of American Furniture Warehouse had agreed to allow the gathering in his store parking lot. Rick Rose said he changed his mind when he learned it was the Minutemen who wanted to use the property.

Rose says he was originally told a church group wanted to use the property.

The protest was peaceful, but police pushed back counter-protesters when they surged at Minuteman supporters getting into their cars at the end of the rally.

that right there should say volumes to an American -- but then again, maybe it would have to say the "Communist Party" or "Al Qaeda" to get their attention
