I view this adoption case a little different, due to the fact the mother had already committed a Federal crime when she illegally came to America and once again committed another fraud crime against a legal citizen here in the U.S.by using their identity to obtain employment. Therefore, the child should remain with the adoptive parents, so he can have a future other than being exposed to crime. I am quite sure the mother are not finish committing crimes, another reason I feel as I do about the adoptive son is the mother apparently has no funds to raise the child in a proper manner. Many illegal immigrants believes if they have children on United States soil they too can become legal citizens because someone has lead immigrants to believe this false story. Overall, the child mother put herself in this sad situation and no one else is responsible for her actions, that she now faces, and must live with. The baby son is blessed to have a home and people in his life that really cares about him.

Compared to Bill Gates, I do not have the funds to raise my child "in a proper manner". Should I lose my son because of this? I might point out that his father is an immigrant, legally here, but still an immigrant. When we start to believe that it is ok for the government to take kids "In their best interest", then none of our children are safe. (For the record, we take no government help, we sacrifice and work to provide for him)

Where do we draw the line? Who are we to judge where this child would be better off? When the Government decides that you are not as fit to parent your child as someone they picked out, are you going to be ok with that? Yes this mother has committed a couple of crimes, and yes she should be deported, but to have her baby kidnapped from her....the answer to that is No. The baby should be deported along with her.
