Raleigh, N.C. — One of two brothers wanted for shooting a Raleigh teen in the back was in custody Saturday.
Police arrested Juan Carlos Serralde, 18, of 2504 King Court, and charged him with attempted murder. He was held without bond at the Wake County jail. Authorities with Immigration and Customs Enforcement were investigating whether Serralde was in the United States legally.
Serralde and his brother, Hugo Serralde Fernandez, 22, were wanted for shooting
Emmanuel Wooden, 16, in the 3400 block of Mackinac Island Lane in July.
Fernandez was arrested Sept. 19 in Pennsylvania. He was extradited to North Carolina and was being held at the Wake County jail.
Wooden was shot in the back and suffered injuries to his spinal cord and lungs, according to the arrest warrant.

Common sense is are these two wanted by ICE and DHS. If these two are undocumented why isn't there a media and police statement of "on hold for ICE" or "immigration status being checked".
