Crackdown Sends Prince William Students Elsewhere

WASHINGTON – Prince William County’s illegal immigration crackdown appears to be spurring some families to send their children to schools elsewhere in northern Virginia.

According to the Prince William school system, enrollment in English as a Second Language classes dropped by 759 students from September through March.

During that same period, 623 ESOL students from Prince William enrolled in Fairfax County schools, compared with 241 in the same period the previous year. Eighty-three enrolled in Arlington County, 75 enrolled in the city of Alexandria and 23 signed up in Loudoun County.

Prince William Board of County Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart said the county expects to save $6 million in education costs because of the transfers.

There are 8 Prince William County Supervisors. Below is the link to contact them. ALIPAC'ers, please help out here...we can't lose this one. PWC has been the model of local action against illegal immigration.

Please e-mail and/or call NOW!!! Maintaing the "Rule of Law Resolution" is vitally important. Don't let the OBL and Mexicans Without Borders win:

Illegal Alien Apologists Find Faulty Spokesmen
    By Greg L | 28 April 2008 | Illegal Aliens, Prince William County | 12 Comments

To try to combat the personal experiences of so many county residents who see that the Rule of Law Resolution has made a dramatic positive difference in their communities, the illegal alien lobby has managed to round up some folks willing to trout out another round of dire predictions of inevitable economic collapse, should we stick with what is clearly working. Hoping that local elected officials might somehow trust liberal academics who don’t even live in the county, or long-time political opponents of Chairman Corey Stewart instead of county residents, the illegal alien lobby didn’t think to check beforehand whether these folks would be credible or not. To liberal illegal alien apologists, just having a title is apparently enough to be credible, even if the person has a somewhat dubious history that isn’t all that hard to dig up.
