COLLLEGE STATION- Today, the council for minority student affairs led a march through campus to take a stand for in-state tuition for undocumented students.

Recent opposition to the Senate Bill 1528 in congress, is putting the undocumented students at risk. K-ags hd news reporter aleksandra bush was at the march today and shows us how students are fighting for their education.

"I am undocumented and I work in construction,” says Alfredo Garcia, an A&M Senior.

    Alfredo Garcia works hard.

"I work painting houses during the summer. I work the whole summer,” says Garcia.

Harder than most, just to get an education.

"I work the whole winter break the whole spring break so I can save money to pay for my tuition to pay for my expenses,” says Garcia.

If Senate bill 1528 is repealed undocumented students at Texas A&M will have to pay almost three times the amount of tuition they do now without any federal aid.

"Opportunities, all of your plans, your future can be taken away and banished so to be an undocumented student is to have a struggle on a day to day basis,” says Garcia.

Which is why undocumented students and their supporters are walking in the Texas Dream March. Whether you are documented or undocumented, if you support the cause then you are a dreamer and you fight for education.

"They have filled the requirement to be Texas residents, they have being paying their taxes, their families have paid sales taxes, property taxes, rent taxes to provide for the public education,” says Nery Guerrero, the president of the minority council of student affairs.

"We are fighting for justice. We are standing up for our community. That's a life changing experience. How you perceive yourself, how you perceive you community, how you perceive your life as having value and us fighting against oppression,” says Garcia.

They're fighting for the right go to school and live the American dream.

Students also marched to repeal the recent suspension of President Obama’s executive action on immigration, which allowed undocumented parents of children born in the United States to avoid deportation. A Texas judge recently put the plan on hold after 26 states, including Texas, filed a lawsuit against the president. Currently, U.S. Citizenship and immigration services is not accepting applications for the program.

It just doesn't make any sense! How can you be considered a legal resident of a state if you're living illegally in the country?

Oh for God's sake, go home, paint houses and go to school in your own damn country, take your dreams, your paint brush and your butt out of here. The education we have in this country is not for you, it's for Americans. The jobs we have here in this country are not for you, they're for Americans. The dreams of American citizens are the dreams that will be fulfilled in this country. You go home and fulfill your dreams in your own country where you're supposed to be to begin with.

And you all are the whiniest ass bunch of workers I've ever had to listen to. Americans work jobs harder than the ones you work, and they never complain about how hard the work is. You're losers because you want to steal what others built, what others fought for, and then want to whine about it to boot. Your parents are losers, that's why they sneaked into a country and violated the law every day they are here, and they raised you to be whiners and thieves, stealing seats in colleges and universities and summer work programs that belong to American citizens.

You are not part of the future of the United States. You are a problem of the United States, and one that will soon be rectified by one means or another.

IMO the sellout politicians from both major parties encourage this behavior, which would never be tolerated in their home countries.

Yes, but there are no innocent parties in this mess. The illegal aliens themselves are responsible, they are not innocents, they are in the wrong country and need to return to the right one, the one they came from and belong in. Yes, politicians have encouraged it, but only because they were already here.

Americans have traveled all over the world fighting wars, building power plants, oil refineries, and doing all types of activities overseas, and they take their children with them, they even have children born overseas, and often marry someone from that country. But, never have they ever thought that just because they're there or were raised there that this is their new home where they have rights and privileges above the laws of these countries. I'm sure some have violated those laws, and I'm sure some have sneaked into some countries, but they don't hit the streets and Capitol buildings asking a nation to subvert its own laws that exist for its own well-being to accommodate them.

As confident and capable as Americans have proven themselves to be, they never held, tolerated or respected this false sense of narcissistic arrogance illegal aliens display as they whine about their "hard work" and march for "justice" when they are not victims of injustice, they are the injustice. And every job they've got here, was taken from an American who never whined about it.

In their quest to take over our country, they've tried to romanticize their lives as if there's something unique or special about them, when they're just plain ole ordinary foreign scabs undercutting and undermining everything our nation and people have worked centuries to create, build and overcome. They can not be allowed to be part of our future of the United States, which means their presence here can not be tolerated or excused. They have to go home, the easy way or the hard way.

Yes, they have plenty of enablers, aiders and abetters here, and under our laws, they should all be charged and prosecuted starting from the top down, from the President to CEO's, to Chamber Presidents and Heads of all these phony 501 C 3 "charities", and Churches who take their money and provide them harbor from the law and advocacy in return.

Undocumented student or worker is political speak for illegal alien. Illegal aliens are not entitled to treatment as citizens, but are by law meant to be deported! That is the simplicity of it, don't get caught up in other distractive arguments such as "human beings trying to better themselves."

"Nothin' to it, but to do it!"
