ARIZONA CITY - A high speed pursuit ended when a truck loaded with marijuana crashed into a home in Arizona City southeast of Phoenix.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says the truck was carrying 10 bundles of marijuana. Some callers to the sheriff's office Sunday night reported that two cars were chasing the truck and the vehicle
    occupants were exchanging gunfire.

The sheriff's office says the truck loaded with pot lost control and hit a house with two people inside, neither of whom was injured.

The driver and a passenger in the truck got away.

Deputies arrived and searched the truck and recovered the marijuana and a gun.

A man, who later identified himself as a passenger in the truck, surrendered to authorities and was turned over to the Border Patrol.

Sure he did. And he'll be back when he feels like it.
