U.S. Border Patrol Weekly Blotter, Blaine Sector Apr. 05 – Apr. 11

Blaine, Wash. – The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

04/06/2012 – Agents apprehended a group of five individuals who crossed into the United States illegally in an area north of Lynden, Washington. The subjects, all citizens of Mexico illegally present in the United States, were placed under arrest and processed for removal.

04/06/2012 – Remote video surveillance system operators notified agents of a subject walking southbound from the U.S. – Canada border in an area east of Blaine, Washington. Agents encountered a citizen of Canada who readily admitted to having just entered into the United States illegally. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.

04/08/2012 – Agents apprehended a citizen of Mexico illegally in the United States as a result of a vehicle stop in close proximity to the U.S. – Canada border, west of Lynden, Washington. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.

04/09/2012 – Agents responded to possible illegal cross border activity north of Lynden, Washington and encountered a subject riding a bicycle south from the U.S. – Canada border. The subject, a Mexican citizen, admitted to having just crossed illegally into the United States from Canada. A records check confirmed that the individual had no legal status in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest, transported to the station, and processed for removal
