When a California paper poll results are this high with dismay, I bet a place like Maine, Tennesee, or Iowa would be overwhelmingly against this ad. Kinda nice to see that were not the only ones offended.



The first day that I heard about this ad, I sent it out to a yahoo group with over 3,000 members. I figured the response would be mixed. I didn't hear much, surprisingly. But, I did get this response from a person who would fall in the "it's stupid or funny" category.

Yes, I live in America.

But I cannot take offense at
the advertisement in Mexico.

If anything, it's poking Mexico
in the eye for being unable to
retain what may have been theirs.

It's rather humorous, in a
"poetic license" sort of way.

But how many Americans of the
Dumbed Down Generation would
know anything about the map
of North America?
