Thousands of cans and vacuum packed bricks of Cafe Bustelo brand coffee have washed up on the beaches of Indialantic, Fla., on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, most likely from a barge container that had fallen overboard this past weekend. The coffee began washing ashore along an area over a mile long in Brevard County, on the east coast of Cental Florida. People began cleaning up the mess, or decided to enjoy some free java. Hundreds of sealed coffee cans and vacuum-packed coffee bricks have washed ashore along Florida's Space Coast and officials believe they may be from containers that fell off a barge last weekend.

Florida
Today reports ( http://on.flatoday.com/1XScgDf ) that the yellow-and-red packages of Cafe Bustelo dotted the beach Tuesday in Indialantic, where delighted beach combers were scooping them up and stuffing them into bags.

The news outlet says the coffee may have come from a barge ship that lost containers between Cape Canaveral and Palm Beach last weekend.

The report quotes the Coast Guard as saying that as many as 25 containers fell overboard, including one that contained batteries.
