[b]Anne Wortham is Associate Professor of Sociology at Illinois State
University and continuing Visiting Scholar at Stanford University 's Hoover
Institution. She is a member of the American Sociological Association and the American Philosophical Association.

She has been a John M. Olin Foundation Faculty Fellow, and honored as a
Distinguished Alumni of the Year by the National Association for Equal
Opportunity in Higher Education.

In fall 1988 she was one of a select group of intellectuals who were
featured in Bill Moyer's television series, "A World of Ideas." The
transcript of her conversation with Moyers has been published in his book,
“A World of Ideasâ€

This woman would make an incredible supreme court judge!!!

OMG! This piece is awesome! This woman is absolutely the cream of the cream. Someone of her high standards and caliber should be the Supreme Court Judge nominee, not the piece of trash that was recently nominated. Anne Wortham would make one incredible anything! Way to go Anne! (and ditto for me and many more who feel the same)

Giving in to the rich elite, corporate America, and the illegal aliens.

We should send her name to some Conservative people in Congress or the Senate, even our own state Legislature.
I googled her, she a real person... It's good to know some people in high places are thinkers.
It gives me some hope after we over-turn Obama in 2012.
Britian is voting in Conservatives left and right due to Gordon Brown doing what Obama is.
I'm not sure we can reverse all Obama has done and plans in his New World Order agenda.

Anne Wortham for Supreme Court! What an excellent article! Finally someone that votes based on ideas, and not race. I voted for Barr, but many of my friends wrote in Ron Paul as well.

I wrote in Paul but I thought Romney, Sarah Palin, and Chuck Baldwin,
even Huckabee would have been better than The Dear One.
Too bad none of them had staying power.
