Another sentenced in Wis. drug ring

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A federal judge has sentenced a man convicted of being part of a southern Wisconsin cocaine ring.

U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb in Madison sentenced 25-year-old Mexican national Arturo Pineda-Lopez to three years and one month in prison for conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute.

Pineda-Lopez will be deported when he finishes his sentence.

Federal prosecutors say he was involved in a cocaine ring that operated in Jefferson and Dodge counties from May 2007 until last June.

Four others have either been sentenced or are awaiting sentencing. Another is a fugitive and another is awaiting trial.
