NC Citizens To Speak Out Against Illegals In Community Colleges

North Carolina citizens plan to attend and speak out against a decision to allow illegal aliens into our community colleges during the required public input segment of the NC Community College Board meeting this Friday, Dec. 18.

The meeting will be at the State Library Building 109 East Jones St., Raleigh, NC 27603 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Americans for Legal Immigration PAC President, William Gheen and Ron Woodard of NC Listen will speak out against the granting of taxpayer resources to illegal aliens, and both organizations are encouraging like-minded citizens to join them. Illegal alien supporting groups that support the measure are expected to attend as well.

"It is outrageous that the NC Community College board would even think of allowing illegal aliens into our colleges when our colleges are turning unemployed American workers away because they are full!" said Gheen of ALIPAC. "A large majority of NC Citizens oppose illegal aliens have access to any taxpayer resources including Community College. The Democratic leadership in the NC General Assembly wants this appointed board to handle their dirty work to thus deprive all North Carolinians of a real voice on this issue through their elected officials.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is a national organization founded by William Gheen of North Carolina on 9/11/2004. Gheen is a prior campaign consultant for members of the NC General Assembly, Assistant Sgt-At Arms for the N.C. Senate, and registered lobbyist for immigration enforcement legislation. Gheen's organization, ALIPAC, is credited with having stopped N.C. HB 1183 "In-State Tuition for Illegal Immigrants" legislation in 2005.

"We want the Community College Board to either reject this proposal on behalf of the vast majority of N.C. Citizens that oppose it or turn it over to the N.C. Legislature to allow the voters of North Carolina a voice in this decision." said Gheen. "The last thing we need right now is non-elected officials deciding that illegal aliens can steal even more taxpayer resources and harm innocent Americans by replacing them in the limited seats in our community colleges."

The N.C. community college access for illegal immigrants issue is of national importance, because it is one of the few examples of state government making moves to aid and encourage illegal immigrants. In the last five years, over 90% of the growing number of state level measures have been to hinder illegal immigration and stop illegal immigrants from taking taxpayer resources and benefits.

Thanks to all of you who are on the phone with us now for the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) Action Network Call on Immigration Reform. Even if you couldn't make it, you can still do your part to support immigration reform!

Tuesday, Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus energized our community with their introduction of the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform for American Security and Prosperity (CIR ASAP) Act of 2009." This marks the beginning of a new debate on immigration reform, and this bill provides a plan that outlines realistic solutions for which we have been demanding.

Congressman Gutierrez has kept to his commitment to our community, and now we need your help to hold the rest of Congress accountable.

Tell your member of Congress to support the "CIR ASAP Act."

This is a crucial moment for our community. We have marched. We have voted. And now we need to show Congress why these reforms cannot wait.

At this moment, the "CIR ASAP Act" has 92 co-sponsors in Congress, but it's going to take all of us adding our voice to the debate to get comprehensive immigration reform passed.

Tell your members of Congress to support immigration reform.

Our communities must let Congress know that we will not continue to let our economy decline or sacrifice our values. We must make our representatives hear our call for an America that reflects our values of fairness, justice, and the rule of law.

Be a part of the solution today!

    Many thanks,

It's an outrage that 5this is even happening. I say deport all illegals, don't give them work permits, no free schooling at colleges and no free medical care at any facility.
Why shpu;pd legal citizens pay for tehse illegals who in fact have committed a crime by coming and being here in contempt of our laws.
Having a larger enforcement staff would in tehe nmd save all of us money and send a strong message to all "would be illegals" trying to enter the country that way.
How long will it take gutless bureaucrats and other elected officials to do their job proberly. If they are unable or unwilling maybe we should deport them instead and maybe they will get the message.
I came here from germany 47 years ago as an immigranmt and it makes me so mad what gall these illegals and the organisatiosn that try to help them display, in fact making a mockery of our laws.
I say let's stop this illegal mockery and make it much tougher for them to enter, stay and get work in th US.

All good suggestions. It seems that the only thing that remove the politcians lips from LaRaza's and the illegals asses, is removal from office.
