The national organization called Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) will hold a fund raiser and a voter rally in Raleigh, NC on Friday October 29. The event is to raise funds and raise awareness for ALIPAC's 2010 endorsements of over 180 federal candidates who support immigration and border enforcement instead of Amnesty for illegal aliens.

This event will be held 6-8pm at the Barbeque Lodge located at 4600 Capital Blvd. in Raleigh, NC. General admission is $25 per plate.

The keynote speaker will be Congressman Walter Jones Jr. (R-NC-3) who has been a national leader in the fight against illegal immigration. ALIPAC's two challenger candidates from NC, BJ Lawson and Bill Randall will also speak at this event.

Randall and Lawson are running against Democratic incumbents Brad Miller (D-NC-13) and David Price (D-NC-4) who both support Amnesty and voting rights for illegal aliens, which is a position opposed by approximately 80% of likely voters.

ALIPAC's President, William Gheen will also speak and deliver a message to candidates and voters across America, which will be immediately podcast to ALIPAC's national network of over 30,000 supporters, along with the other speeches.

This event will also be attended by NC State Senator Neal Hunt, Ron Woodard of NC Listen, and James Johnson of NCFIRE, along with numerous other candidates for public office who want voters to know they intend to work to address illegal immigration as an issue.

"We are seeing a historic number of federal and state campaigns proclaiming their support for immigration and border enforcement and their opposition to any form of Amnesty this year," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC. "This event will bring more attention to our national focus and all of the great candidates across America who plan to defeat Amnesty and illegal immigration in the 2010 elections."

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is a national organization founded on Sept. 11th, 2004 and it has since risen to become the nation's third largest grass roots organization fighting against illegal immigration and amnesty. ALIPAC supporters represent Americans of every race, party, and walk of life, including many legal immigrants who oppose Amnesty and illegal immigration.

ALIPAC's President William Gheen is a North Carolina native who has worked with numerous campaigns and with current and past members of the NC General Assembly, where he has also served as a lobbyist, legislative assistant, and member of the Sgt. At Arms staff.

Tickets can be purchased at the event or advance reservations can be made by making a donation between Oct. 15-29 at www.alipac.us

ALIPAC is currently endorsing and supporting over 200 federal candidates that are Republicans and Democrats including 7 in NC. A full list of endorsed candidates can be found at www.alipac.us
