We have lived in the Lakewood/Amado area for 37 years, operating a business in the Amado for 20 of those years and retiring in 2005.

To our dismay, our area has turned into a corridor for illegal immigration and drug trafficking. The rear of our property, outside our back wall, has been littered with refuse from illegal immigrants passing through, including burlap bags, which, according to the Border Patrol, are used to transport illegal drugs.

Marley Ranch, which borders our land, is littered with the same trash and we do not go outside after dark, unless absolutely necessary!

We need the help of the U.S. Government! Perhaps they need to re-think their current policies to deal with these problems. The Border Patrol is sometimes unresponsive, but, think what the problems would be without the Border Patrol.

Please contact your political representatives and demand their help. Share your good ideas to protect us all and keep our borders safe.

Yea our citizens do need help . Oath of office has been broken and Sedition envoked by our President . Where is the powers that straighten out a corrupt mess like this. To keep from msm or Dobb & Beck they just don't send help . Snakes , lots of them
