Bank of the West panders to Spanish speaking

Today I went to the Bank of the West to deposit a check in my account and gone was all the art work on the walls. There was instead huge framed signs all in Spanish; not signs in English with Spanish translations, simply Spanish.

I asked the clerk that waited on me why the signs were in Spanish and she said the bank was pandering to the Hispanic. I was shocked, not one sign in English. It's not like there is a large Hispanic population here, only 3%. I informed the clerk that I would be closing my account, and she replied all the banks were doing the same thing.

I went to another bank and noticed all their signs were in English. I spoke to a representative who assured me that their signs were all according to corporate policy "English". Monday, I will start the process of transferring my money and notifying all my automatic depositors and payments of the change, so that I can say adios to the Bank of the West.

Funny, I am not surprised by the all Spanish signs. When I was in Cali I noticed this too frequently. What does shock me is a bank that has ENGLISH signs. I know it is not BOA or Wells Fargo ( unless something drastic has happened in the past 8 months) Who is this bank? If they have and branches in Indiana, I want to use them.

The name of the bank is Guarantee Bank, and surprisingly they are only in Texas and California.
