Just got this from a supporter via email.

Hi,
Your hotlink to the Tribune poll:
Tribune Online Poll
http://www.alipac.us/ftopict-117995.html
Is at the root of why ALIPAC members can not see the Tribune poll. Such a hotlink contains HTTP_Referrer information ... the URL of the site from whence the query originated. The Tribune's IT staff is filtering web-page queries, and not displaying the poll to any from ALIPAC (a story of some interest in and of itself). Said another way, the request from a web browser (any of them, IE, Firefox, etc.) which asserts an HTTP_Referrer containing an ALIPAC (and potentially other -- undesired -- organizations') URL, will result in the page being served without the poll.
The easiest way for the ALIPAC membership to vote is to copy the following string to their computer's clipboard:
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nati ... orygallery
Then exist their browser ... completely. Every window must be closed.
Fire up the browser, and navigate to a neutral site, like google.com.
Paste (CTRL-C) the copied Tribune URL into the address bar of the browser. Press the "Enter" key.
Voila. There's the poll.
Hope this helps the cause.
