That is not illegal under the 2nd Amendment which states the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

I have no problem with that guy in South Carolina. Everyone should be able to "amass" as many guns as they want to store and step over. I have a problem with the stolen guns because someone was robbed, but apparently he didn't steal them, he just bought them from someone who did. He's a collector. And for your all's information, 90% of whatever you buy at a pawn shop is "stolen" property. How many pawn shops are "seized" and their owners hauled off to jail?

This is discrimination against this gun collector and his 2nd Amendment rights are being violated, in my opinion.

The guy is in possession of STOLEN GUNS.

Your post sounded like you thought the police who arrested this guy were DC Police, they weren't, they were Capitol Police, a federal law enforcement agency that works for US, not the District of Columbia. Capitol Police work all over the United States, not just in DC. Their job is to protect members of Congress and their families through the United States and in all US territories. And DC didn't set these rules, the US government set them. That's why I have every right to express my opinion about them when I think they're wrong.

Anyway, an interesting article that shows the Congress doesn't believe in the Bill of Rights enough to allow it to operate in their own office buildings.

I've already commented on that. If he stole the guns, then he should be arrested, if he didn't steal them and just bought them to add to his collection, then he needs to tell the police who he bought them from so they can go arrest the actual gun thief and of course hand over the stolen guns so they can be returned to their rightful owner. Your article says the serial numbers on many of them had been filed off, probably by the thieves, so I'm not clear on how the feds know they're stolen in those instances or how they were linked to any crimes, which it's pretty obvious, this guy didn't commit.
