ALERT! House floating new amnesty proposal to undermine SAVE Act!
The House Democratic leadership is developing a new amnesty plan. Discussions are underway on a bill that would give illegal aliens a visa that awards legal status for five years if they have jobs, pay nominal fines, and pass background checks.
Since the visas could be renewed, it is a new plan for a permanent amnesty. By not offering a "path to citizenship"-at least not yet--the proponents think it will not engender as much opposition as the amnesty of the McCain--Kennedy comprehensive immigration bill.
The new plan attempts to lure business and Republican support by offering additional employment visas for agricultural and technical workers.
The authors of this proposal are concerned about growing support for the SAVE Act, HR 4088. This bipartisan measure, which stresses enforcement and increases border security, now has over 130 co-sponsors.
Help us launch a pre-emptive strike against this new insidious amnesty proposal.

NO! They can't even complete the background checks they have in cue right now, they don't need to add to the problem by throwing more potential terrorist at the overburdened system.

Here is a sample letter:
There is discussion among the Democratic house leadership to develop a new amnesty plan for illegal aliens. This bill would give illegals a visa that awards legal status for five years if they have jobs, pay nominal fines, and pass background checks.
Background checks. For illegal aliens. I often hear arguments that we cannot deport millions of illegals, but we can somehow track them down well enough to process background checks? Is there a name for this logic coming out of Congress? Out of curiosity, I wonder what the point of these background checks would be, considering that we are already ignoring their illegal presence in our country?
This plan is nothing more than amnesty on layaway. There is already a bill in Congress that offers an appropriate response and reasonable solution to the immigration crisis. The bipartisan SAVE Act, HR 4088, will increase border security and expand workplace enforcement.
Offering a five year pass will only encourage illegal immigration, and Capital Hill has already learned what the American people think of amnesty. The American people want enforcement - not five year passes."We have decided man doesn't need a backbone any more; to have one is old-fashioned. Someday we're going to slip it back on." - William Faulkner

17 seats won in the house and plus 1 in the senate is all that stop republicans from controlling both houses. So we can forget about mccain,we have to target house and senate members that they can face defeat in november -warn them do not let split in primarys that let mccain win foll theminto thinking illegal immigration is not an issue.
Durbin pushes voting rights for illegal aliens without public...
