Merging with Canada and Mexico won't help to "fight off our enemies". They would just be a huge burden. Mexico's army and police forces are so corrupt, that they would probably get on the side of the enemy for a small price. Thats why it is so important to seperate ourselves from them by building a fence and keeping them out.

It wouldn't surprise me if Bush thinks this. The man is an abject moron.....They probably tell him anything while he is playing with GI Joe's in the oval office. CAFTA was sold to many senators as "a national security bill." The patriot Act was sold to the American people the same way. Something else was up with both of them. Obviously the people behind NAU couldn't care less about American security. And fighting China is the last thing on their minds....hell, the whole idea is to merge with China in the long-run.

But yeah, the chimp might believe this, while the real men in charge are going for NAU and World government to appease the corporate/fuedal lords.

This isn't about protecting the US - how in the world could it be.

The protection of this country seems to be the last thing on this PResident's mind.

You cannot protect a country by filling it with anyone and anything that decides to just walk in.

This is about money - big business - and power. Nothing more.
