A Real Plan to Deal WIth Illegal Aliens
    Category: News and Politics

Illegal Alien health care (and other costs associated with these law-breakers) is costing CA taxpayers around $8 Billion per year. That's just CA, other states and Federal Government spend even more.

Unfortunately courts have mandated that we are to turn no one away from American tax-payer financed services no matter their immigration status, so therefore we have no choice but to find a way to pay for illegal alien costs.

Here's an easy way to take care of those costs.

    1) Require illegal alien employers to pay the cost. As soon as an illegal alien hits a hospital counter, school yard or prison, he/she should have to disclose the name and location of who they work for and where they work. Send the bill there, not the tax payer.

Employer is benefitting from short-changing American citizens (after all, Illegal Aliens are ONLY hired because cheap-skate business owners don't want to pay Americans an American capitalistic market wage to do the work, thus they turn to labor "outside" of the American capitalistic system, illegal foreign workers). They should be forced to pick up the costs associated with their illegal labor force. I would send them the bills for hospital use, criminals, school children of their workers, etc. who use public tax dollar funded institutions.

    2) Require the illegal aliens themselves to pay the cost through a tax. (We all know the saying, "the power to tax, is the power to destroy"). If you want to destroy the illegal alien labor market, tax it heavily. It will go away on it's own. Individual States like CA needs this now (especially with its $8 Billion dollar deficit), atleast the illegal aliens will migrate elsewhere.

Place an income tax and/or employer tax on the use of illegal labor and use the proceeds to fund health care, prison costs, etc. associated with illegals. If Federal Courts won't let us cut off the services, etc. then we can place a 50% income tax on all people who are illegally in the State of CA (or Federally). We can register them as we find them. As we find the places they work through registering them, we'll probably stumble across many more of them at the same work site, then we register those folks as well. After a few years of heavy taxation against illegal aliens, we'll see them disappear and American wages will rise.

    3) Require the countries they come from pay for it. Plain and simple, it's their citizens. We should also send them to their countries for major operations, etc. because the costs are lower than the same procedure in America.

    4) For those businesses that lose their labor force, such as restaurants, put inner-city, rural and/or economically depressed teen-agers into these jobs; they could assist their families after school or on weekends. This can be done by ending certain ridiculous "child labor laws". It was put a dent in after-school teen-age crime, sex, drug use, etc. because most teens would be working. For jobs not fillable by the unemployed, welfare recipients or teens, use prison labor.

    5) Put male inmates to work in our agriculture fields and bring "sweat-shop" sewing and textile work to the womens' (and some mens') prisons, then use the profits to pay for the prison system. You can incentivize inmates to volunteer for the program by offering them up to 1/2 time credits (for property crime or violating prohibition laws) or 1/4 time credits (for violent crime such as robbery, assault, etc. I would NOT give time credits to murderers or sex offenders). I would also offer inmates $1-$5 per hour, while charging the business or farm another $5 or so per hour, depending on the type of business and it's average wage. The additional money would be used to pay Corrections costs, etc. It is completely allowable under the State Constitution, all we need is to pass a specific program, which obviously we would need to put before the voters.

Article 14, Section 5 of the CA STATE CONSTITUTION says:

    (a) The Director of Corrections or any County Sheriff or other local government official charged with jail operations, may enter into contracts with public entities, nonprofit or for profit organizations, entities, or businesses for the purpose of conducting programs which use inmate labor. Such programs shall be operated and implemented pursuant to statutes enacted by or in accordance with the provisions of the Prison Inmate Labor Initiative of 1990, and by the rules and regulations prescribed by the Director of Corrections and, for county jail programs, by local ordinances."

By replacing illegal alien labor with legitimate American labor, we'll also keep this money with in America, rather than sending it to Mexico's economy, plus increae our tax base and create more productive citizens.

It isn't that difficult to solve these problems if you just think about it long enough. Politicians (especially the left) need to be stopped in their tracks with their ridiculous "amnesty" proposals in Congress. Send the illegals home by firing them from their jobs and replacing them, they'll leave on their own. Call ALL politicians that represent you!

I like it. Make it so unprofitable that they leave.

wonderful ideas, with so many jobs going overseas, americans need work and prisoners need to be kept busy. america does not need illegals and we cannot afford the cost of paying their medical bills. many of them crossed the border sick and their government should be paying the bill not the US taxpayers.

That's what 20 years hard labor meant in the old days. It also meant that agrigate was cheaply made for use in concrete, as the prisoners made little ones outta big ones on the rock pile, and allowed America to build the best infrastructure in the world.
