Geraldo Rivera should be striped of his U.S. citizenship and sent to Mexico into exile. He appeared on O’rilley and said he feels the hard working illegal aliens, (who have families and home) at Swift meat packing company should be left alone and given back their jobs, given a pat on the back for doing the “dirty jobs American will not do.” Forget the fact that they have ruined the life of the American citizens whose S.S. number they have stolen, crossed the border illegally.A felon is a criminal and should be arrested and if illegal should be deported. A lot of felons that are in prisons have families and homes, should we let them out. Americans do lots of dirty jobs at a fair wage.

The Discovery Channel television series "Dirty Jobs" is outstanding in many ways. It might be the ultimate in reality television. No awards here or voting for best anything. Just plain, hard filthy dirty work in the harshest of conditions. The show lays to rest the common mainstream myth "there are jobs that ONLY illegal aliens will do, and that's why we need them." If you've never heard of the television show, can't access it or have not seen it before, you'll quickly find that picking crops is clean work compared to numerous jobs few have ever heard of before.
We'll look at stomach turning dirty jobs that AMERICANS are doing everyday. The show's host Mike Rowe wears the same protection (or lack thereof) that workers use for each job. Mike actually does the dirty job for a full work day. As someone with background in broadcasting, theater and film, there is a cardinal rule often heard in all the arts: "Don't let anything happen to the talent at any cost." This show violates that edict in every show. Mike is treated the same as employees, often yelled at by on-camera foreman and supervisors with "hurry up, you're getting behind" or "if you were working for me, you wouldn't be anymore."

I saw Geraldo on the O'Reilly Factor last night. I thought he (Geraldo)would start foaming at the mouth at any moment!!! His raging comments concerned only the hardship ICE put on those illegals by arresting them. Not one word about the hardship put on American citizens for having their identity stolen by these felons!! How un-american can a person get!! Pack his butt up and send him back to Puerto Rico or wherever he's from too!!!

You are so right. Watching him last night made my blood boil. What did he say the illegals were making, $40,000? Is that the "cheap labor" so many people are talking about? How is that a reduced salary? That is more than some of our law enforcement make!

Friends at Foxnews this morning had people email in and say who they supported, O'reilly or Geraldo...89% were for O'reilly.

I'm beginning to think Geraldo is an illegal....he goes way over to top on this topic.

I saw it too, although I can't say I'm surprised. I remember Geraldo at some of those demonstrations back in the spring and he was supportive of the illegals then.

I believe that he is just one more elitist with misguided compassion. All of the compassion is for the illegal, and none for the citizen victims of the illegals. He is removed from all of the ill effects of illegal immigration. If his job was threatened, if he or his family were the victims of a DUI illegal or victims of another violent crime perpetrated by an illegal, he'd probably change his tune.

I was especially upset when O'Reilly asked him what he thought about the Padilla case and he said that he was sorry for all of the victims of crimes in the US. People like him consisently miss the point that if these illegals were not here to begin with, their victims would still be alive. Just because we have our own home grown criminals is not an excuse for importing foreign national criminals.

When a persons SS number has been stolen and used by an illegal, that person cannot get a new card and loose all SS they may have paid in. This happened to a woman whose number was being used by over 200 illegals.

Geraldo has always been on the side of the illegals.

The one thing that consistently bothers me is how he gets on any program what so ever. How does he have any cred. This is the same man that opened Capone's vault on primetime TV and found dirt and empty beer bottles. This is the same man that got his nose taken out by a chair-wielding KKKer on his talkshow. This is the same man that drew a map in the sand on TV while with troops in Iraq. We can't take him seriously, and shouldn't.

Remember, FOX wants to be "fair and balanced". In the case of this interview, and all the other interviews Geraldo does on that show, O'Reilly tends to be the good and Rivera the evil. One is conservative and the other is liberal.

That's more than the majority of our young men and women are dying for in Iraq. How is it that an illegal immigrant working in a meat packing plant can earn more than our sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, etc. risking their lives for our country?

Are they honestly attempting to tell us no American citizens will work for $40,000? I'll bet these same illegals are also receiving free medical care at the local hospital. Since many of them are obviously working under a stolen identity, there would be no need for them to use that identity when seeking care at the hospital. Remember, some of these illegal not only had someone elses social security number, the also had fake green cards, birth certificates, etc. Those fake documents can be used when necessary to apply for certain benefits and rights. Makes you wonder exactly how indepth this fraud on the American people actually is.
