...there is still a possiblity the Lou Dobbs could throw his hat in the ring. Then he'd have a dog in the hunt and so would I.

I'm not voting for McCain. As discussed in another thread, I will not reward the Republican party with my vote.
When I vote, I will vote for a conservative. I will not vote for the lesser of two liberals.
We've let them take inches already. No way am I going to help them take any more.
Letting them win when they have no interest in doing a damned thing for me?
They can stuff it."Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." -- John Quincy Adams

I believe it will be better for me to try to explain this idea tomorrow, because I will have a more quiet atmosphere. Barring any unexpected situations, I should have a little time in the AM.

Crystal, McCain and Humas=3 ring CFR circus. Like Rush said McCain is a liberal and you don't negotiate with liberals, when you do, you lose everytime!
Unless we get those criminals & make them pay for what they have done to our country and the lawlessness they have sponsored, we are just another Mexico ourselves!

Like I stated at my Republican Assembly meeting the other day, it is time we demand with threat of impeachment and removal from office, that we the people are are the ones who our government should cater to, and that if our voices are not heard and acted upon, then there will be no support from me. The meeting I went to said we should support McCain regardless, because it should be party first. I disagree it should be country first, and when I see McCain put country first I will support him, so far I have not seen that from him.

Party First
I used to be a party line person when the GOP was a conservative party but alas, it is not anymore. It was hijacked by the neo cons..and therefore...I am now a libertarian. The only reason I didn't go independent is because you have absolutely no leverage. I really think political parties are bad. The two major parties have control of things..and have shut out other parties and I don't know how they get away with it. The best thing to do is leave the GOP and let it crash. As long as you keep feeding the beast ...it won't go away. The GOP needs to bottom out...start a new conservative party or whatever.

$$$$
Do you make any money to be a republican? There are those at high levels who do...could THAT be why they consider the party to be more important than principal? of course.

03-03-2008, 06:20 PM #19BRIT HUME: And if the conservatives don't want a President Obama or a President Clinton, they ought to get off McCain's back and let him campaign as whatever he wants to, and campaign from the center.
He has an attitude too. Like he knows what is best for US.RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends

Mad in Chicago has the correct approach no matter who the VP might be. If stopping illegal invasion is the mission here then the fight needs to be with McCain. Wanna even it up with McCain? Put him in office and then use every resource in the party to tear him up on his amnesty!
