Immigration crackdown is 17 million illegals too late

So, the immigration crackdown has led to a drop in illegal immigration. Good. We should have done that about 17 million illegals ago.

I have always wondered why it’s up to us to take care of another country’s problems. Why don’t they get their acts together and fix their own country? No, it’s easier to send them illegally across our border, and then to complain about how we treat their people.

It’s costing us billions to subsidize these illegals. If we can’t round them up, how about this: We could bill these countries to the tune of $100,000 or so, per illegal. That would recoup some of the money they’re costing us. We would also charge the same amount to all the new “arrivalsâ€
