The ALIPAC Red Alert on No Amnesty for Wall Street Gangters is being heard loud and clear. But as we know these kind's wings cannot be clipped just a little, they'll just be back with another outrage. They have to be clipped all the way. The group running the ad is under the name ImpeachTime.org. They are asking for calls to begin the first step toward impeachment, which would be to hold Harriet Miers and Karl Rove in "Inherent Contempt" for defying congressional subpoenas, which is impeachable. If you call your congressman and leave the message "inherent contempt for Rove and Miers" they'll know what you are talking about.

The Clinton impeachment timeline was as follows:

Oct. 8th - Henry Hyde introduced H. Res. 581 to authorize and direct the Judiciary Committee to investigate whether there are sufficient grounds for impeachment.
Dec. 8th – a motion for censure instead is defeated.
Dec. 11th & 12th Judiciary Committee approves four articles of impeachment.
Dec. 16th The full report is released.
Jan. 7th Impeachment Trial begins.

The 110th Congress is far from over, and it comes back to a full workload and schedule of hearings after the Nov. 4th election. Bush's case is far more open-and-shut than Clinton's whose lying required some investigation. Bush's offenses are admitted and in the public record, including the most recent impeachable offense: the defiance of congressional subpoenas by a subordinate. THEY SEEM TO HAVE TIME TO PICK OUR POCKETS EMPTY IN 3 DAYS, BUT NOT ENOUGH TIME TO SAVE THE CONSTITUTION.

Then writing the Constitution was a waste of time and money. He's not almost gone. What he has done will stay forever unless we bust the precedent by impeaching. Impeach Pelosi and Reid? Fine by me! Now what exactly is the mechanism for it? Former Congresswoman Liz Holtzman said in the hearings on July 25th that you can impeach senators and congressmen, but it's never been done before. Who out there is a legal beagle?
