Information regarding world wide illegal immgration issues .

i've learned alot about our nations problems with illegal immigration , but i've also found myself starting to get bored with the circular dimensions of our debate ...

people call us racists , we explain the facts , people call us racists , we explain the facts ...

lately i've been looking across the globe to see how other nations are dealing with or effected by illegal immigration ....

here is a list of seperation barriers world wide

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_barrier

makes for some interesting reading ...

i learned about the spanish seperation barrier so i did more research on it and found this webcite with pictures ...

    http://www.richwainwright.com/portfolio ... ry=melilla

their wall is over 20 feet high , topped with barbed wire , guard posts and cameras ..

in 2005 , about 700 illegal immigrants rushed their old border wall which was only 10 feet high ....

The Wainwright photos of the guarded double fence are inspiring.

    Melilla border fence:

    Ceuta border fence:

    Morroccan Wall:

    THIS wall was very effective:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin_Wall

This wall has been scorned by the world:

But I think it would be better to have the discussion here first. We have a right to defend our way of life - even if the intruders are only economic - we still have a right.

When people play the "Ism" card, it's a sure sign that they don't want to deal with the facts. So their Ism tactic is encouraging.

    Thanks for those links.

Unfortunately we also have a duty to defend the quality of American life, because the federal government so obviously prefers to confer benefits on illegals, depite shockingly high unemployment.

Make no mistake about it, 'Bama will throw the poorest and most desparate Americans under the bus, to get amnesty for all those undocumented Democrats.

A while back I remember reading something about the U.S. and Mexico NOT WANTING to have a wall between them for trade reasons. In other words, we build a wall, commerce/trade suffers. Therefore, no decent wall has ever been built.

Felipe Calderón, President of Mexico, in an Oct. 26, 2006 CTV (Canadian national broadcast news) article titled "Mexico Urges Canada to Help Oppose Border Fence," stated:
"It is deplorable to go ahead with this decision of the wall at the border...The wall will not solve any problem.
Humanity made a huge mistake by building the Berlin Wall and I believe that today the United States is committing a grave error in building the wall on our border. It is much more useful to solve common problems and foster prosperity in both countries."

only in his country is there prosperity from the money illegals send home to bring in more illegals. that way Mexico does not have to support their own people.

Well let them foster their prosperity and let us try to recoup ours. And as for their lies, they also said that they would never damage our relations by allowing Islamic terrorists into the U.S. through Mexico. They assured us that their people would report them.

Lots of people in border towns have a problem because the Mexicans do like to come and shop on this side of the line - after they go to their PO Boxes and pick up their entitlements - used to be FoodStamps - now I don't know how they do it - recharge the card? The politicians in border areas have a huge conflict because many people on this side are of Mexican descent and are involved with people on the other side of the line.

But talk about the hate. We have a young relative who lives in Mexico. His entire grade school and high school education has been paid for by his family here. All these years he has been coming across the line every day for a private school education. Yet the hate that he has been taught is such that he has never come to meet his U.S. family that paid for his private education - also Mexican - but US citizens. He is 17 now.
