I had to move from a small town in Co. because I couldn't find work, every job I could do required a spanish speaker.

Being an American, I have no desire to learn spanish and being over 40, I have intention to learn spanish. I work in a place where English is the dominate language. If you don't speak it, tough on you.

And most of the time theyare hire without any experience if they speak Spanish. It happen to a friend who has a degree in special education but because she could not speak Spanish, her friend who do not have a high school education got the job. It was for an aide in the the classroom. It was not because of the students but because she has to conversate with the parents.
