Latino Group Applauds Latino Legislator for introducing the KANSAS COMPACT
usopenborders.com
Phoenix, AZ — The Tequila Party Movement (a non-partisan Latino female-led political movement) is indebted to Kansas Representative Louis Ruiz for introducing the KANSAS COMPACT today.
The KANSAS COMPACT sets the immigration tone towards a healthy discussion. The birth and idea of the KANSAS COMPACT is a direct result of our foundress stepping in when (R-KS) Rep.
Virgil Peck made a dangerous and controversial statement when he advocated controlling illegal immigration the way the feral hog population has been controlled — with hunters shooting from helicopters.
(Above) Kansas Rep. Louis Ruiz talks to Governor Brownback regarding KANSAS COMPACT in March 2011
Unfortunately Republican Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach has communicated falsehoods with regard to immigrants and we are surprised he is asking small business owners and farmers to increase wages during a time they are just able to keep their heads above water.
Tea Party supporters appear hypocritical as we do not see them criticizing Kobach’s larger government ideas due to his support of bureaucratic additional measures and burdens imposed on small businesses via national e-verify. According to the CATO Institute, “Without immigrant workers, the most likely scenario is that we would simply produce less agricultural output as a nation.
This would mean not only a direct loss of manual, on-the-farm jobs but a ripple effect of job losses in upstream and downstream sectors such as management, processing, packaging, distribution, and marketing. According to estimates from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, there are 3.1 related jobs off the farm for every job on the farm. Eliminating the on-farm jobs would put at risk many more jobs paying middle-class wages and employing native-born American workers.” CATO Institute research also shows that when immigrants move in, Americans move up.
We are asking all Kansas Republicans and Democratic legislators to support this important KANSAS COMPACT resolution before the State of Kansas learns the horrible mistakes of Georgia, Alabama and Arizona that has cost these states millions of millions of dollars and left farmers at a state of emergency. Georgia and Alabama enacted laws that penalized illegal immigrants recently; now the two states are learning about the power of unintended consequences.

Georgia state Senator Sam Zamarripa(36th District - Atlanta) on April 17, 2003.
See and listen to a compilation of written and live, recorded statementsby other elected U.S. officials and politicians, college professors, and pro-illegal alien activists whose objective is to take control of our country "by vote if possible and violence if necessary!" These speakers are not the "lunatic fringe". They are some of the most powerful Latino leaders and politicians in America, whose allegiance is to foreigners of their ethnic group, not to the United States.

MALDEF
MALDEF press release, May 4, 2004, "MALDEF Applauds Introduction
Of Comprehensive Immigration Reform Legislation":
MALDEF joins hundreds of organizations across the country,
in a broad-based coalition, to support the Safe, Orderly, Legal Visas and
Enforcement Act of 2004 ("SOLVE Act") and urge Congress to pass it.
"MALDEF has continually advocated for an 'earned
legalization.' Immigrants [illegal aliens] who demonstrate that they pay taxes,
have a job, and pass a security test should be able to qualify for legal
status."
As the larger, more comprehensive legislation is debated,
MALDEF urges Congress to pass AgJOBS (S. 1645) for the agricultural sector, and
the DREAM Act (S. 1545) for students, which are bipartisan solutions to current
inequities facing America’s immigrant community.

On the streets
Some may think that the reconquista agenda is a myth. The streets, however, tell a different story. On May 14, 2005, hundreds of reconquistas shouted racist epithets at American protesters at Baldwin Park, California. What happened there offers a glimpse into America's future.
"Osama Bin Laden Rules... Zarqawi the Gringo Killer... Yes! Yes!"
"This is our country... Go back to Europe..."
"Go back to England... Go home gringo!"
"Too bad Osama Bin Laden didn't have a hydrogen bomb to drop on that
Jewish shit hole called Manhattan..."
"In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its
proud historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion of our
territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlán from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny."

Press release: Latino Groups Unite in Condemning REAL ID
Call on Congress and the Administration to Finally Fix the Broken Immigration System
May 5, 2005
Latino Groups Unite
National Latino groups are united in opposing REAL ID. National security is a top concern for the Latino community, but REAL ID will not keep America any safer
. What REAL ID will do is decrease access to driver’s licenses and identification documents for immigrants, including legal immigrants, as well as currently undocumented trafficking victims, asylum seekers, and innocent children who may be eligible for immigration relief. REAL ID will make American roads and communities less safe and impose national ID requirements....
