Thank you Newmexican for posting this hearing video! I watched it, it was excellent, and Senator Sessions and most of the members of the panel who addressed the committee did a great job in pointing out the fallacies of the H1B program, such as there is no shortage of STEM workers in the United States, and exposed the illegal practices by some of our largest companies who are laying off thousands of STEM workers and replacing them with foreign workers at lower wages and salaries, and also that for over 80% of all H1B workers, they only hold a Bachelors Degree, are not Advanced Degree holders, have no special skills, and are just ordinary foreign workers with a degree. Another fascinating fact presented by the Trumka, was that 80% of all H1B workers were employed in body shops. So, we've been cheated as a nation by the H1B program, our workers have been insulted, abused, and their lives turned upside down, being caught in the trap of having to accept the packages offered to them and train their replacement or be fired, black-balled by the industry, and not only denied severance packages but denied unemployment benefits due to firings with cause for insubordination by refusing to train their replacements.

This is not supposed to happen in the United States. Companies guilty of these practices all need to be prosecuted for conspiracy to defraud the H1B program and deny American workers their constitutional and civil rights to work in the United States in the career paths they studied for and worked for decades to develop.

We need to pass a 10 Year Moratorium on Immigration and stop this madness right here, right now, because if our so-called best companies are cheating on the H1B visas, which they are, you know lesser companies hiring LPR's on green cards are cheating as well, and laying off and refusing to hire American workers in favor of foreign workers. This can not be tolerated. The whole system has to be stopped, the faucet turned off, so we can end this madness of imported labor of all types and skill levels, and give our businesses and workers a chance to reunite, work out their differences, and set a new course for a true fully-employed self-sustaining American economy that has 10 million on Medicaid instead of 70 million, and 2 million unemployed instead of 20 million, so the average household income supports those who work without the need for Medicaid, food stamps, free school lunch, subsidized housing or health insurance, and WIC or TANF or all the other nonsense that is bankrupting our country and driving US to become the World's Largest Banana Republic.

IMO we'll have to be pushing for rational behavior again and again, because we've deviated too far from a norm that preserves American resources for Americans, and shares our surpluses via foreign aid.
