    "The Matamoros Chamber of Commerce isn't happy either. They believe the Texas travel warning went too far in saying to avoid travel, unlike the State Department warning that only stated security in Mexico poses a risk.

    A Matamoros business woman who depends on tourism agrees.

    "The economic effect is hard on business owners in Matamoros. The tourists aren't coming to visit. It's very slow. Spring Break is important to us. It's safe and quiet right now, but this warning isn't helping us,â€

    Our local TV Channel 2 is doing and irresponsible bit tonight telling us all who we can be safe when traveling into a war zone. What is it they don't understand? Stay the heck out of Mexico!

    Yeah...tell me about it! Especially since the very next day, 47 people were slaughtered. I wonder if that "Matamoros business woman" would care to revise her previous statement. Probably not....
