    McCain to Vote Against Sotomayor

WASHINGTON -- Republican Sen. John McCain says he'll oppose Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor when the Senate votes on her confirmation this week.

The Arizona senator calls Sotomayor a judicial activist who tried to walk back from that record during her confirmation hearings. He says President Barack Obama's nominee has used her position as a judge to try to change the law.

McCain is one of several Republicans from states with heavily Hispanic populations to come out against Sotomayor, the daughter of Puerto Rican parents raised in a New York City housing project and educated in the Ivy League.

McCain says Sotomayor's life story is inspiring and compelling, but he says that's not enough to qualify her for a position on the high court.

I never thought of it that way April! WOW! That is lower than low! McCain knows how unpopular this woman is and is going to hide behind those Senators that will vote to confirm. But not only is he hiding behind this vote, he's making it look as if he's on board with the American people!

I guarantee you if his vote was the deciding vote, we would vote to confirm!

    Politics at it's sickening worst!

Yes sickening!!!!!It is all game, and it is all about fooling the American people. I heard it put an interesting way once. The person said that politics is like professional wrestling. In the ring the partcipants are adversaries and behind the scenes they are buddies figuring out strategic moves to fool the fans into thinking they are really fighting against one another. Behind the scenes the policticians have one goal and that is to fool us into thinking they are working for us instead of the coporate elites. Most everything is staged, just like the Sotomayor thing, they staged that to make us think they are grilling her, when they had every intention from the first of confirming her.

In other words, the rest ( minus a few who still have some integrety left like Sessions) of the GOP votes to confirm Sotomayor, while McCain takes one for the team to make it look as if the GOP is not a complete sellout, since it will be least damaging to his so called political future, given his pro-amnesty, pro-illegal positions!

Professional wrestling is the perfect analogy April!

Yeah they probably draw straws regularly to figure out who gets to take one for the team............and try to sucker America into thinking they care what we think.

Yes, if it wasn't "real life" (although Im not sure if ANY of these vermin live "real lives"), it would be like a very entertaining soap opera!
