MoveOn.org Ad: The term ‘illegal immigrant’ is a hate crime
April 27,2012

MoveOn.org is out with a new video trying to marginalize anyone who dares to stand in the way of unrestricted immigration – seeking to transform the term “illegal immigrant” into slur.

It also seeks to define opposition to illegal immigration as a “hate crime”, which amounts to an effort to do what the left does best – shut down debate – using language as a weapon.

The video specifically features video clips from conservative news outlets such as The Washington Times and Fox News and features hosts such as Glenn Beck, Michael Reagan, Lou Dobbs and Megyn Kelly using the term.

The leftist group invokes memory of past prejudices against immigrant groups, even flashing up an image referring to blacks as “n—-rs”.

It concludes saying “No human is illegal”.

Kinder words for illegals will not change the fact that they are illegal. They want to break the law and they want us to be nice. So if an illegal murders or rapes a loved one or takes a job away from you, you think we should treat them with respect? Not going to happen!

I agree with this so much. Illegal aliens throw personal responsibility out the window when they come here illegally. They don't deserve respect.

That is so Geraldo, yeah.....so now telling the truth about the status of an illegal is a cheap shot..... ILLEGAL IS ILLEGAL and no amount of BS changes that. I guess the guy who breaks in a store and steals some cash should not be called a criminal, Geraldo would say that is a cheap shot. ....... maybe we could call him an unauthorized customer. Geeez
