Newt Gingrich Calls For “Un-American” Plan To Wipe Out ISIS in USA Once And For All

In the wake of the Orlando nightclub terror attack in which a radicalized Muslim-American slaughtered at least 49 innocent people and injured even more, many concerned Americans have wondered what could be done to identify and stop individuals like Omar Mateen from committing similar atrocities.

According to The Hill, former speaker of the House and Donald Trump surrogate Newt Gingrich made an appearance on “Fox & Friends” Monday morning to discuss the horrific attack.

Gingrich first noted that, just as in Orlando, several other terrorist attacks have taken place here in America by radicalized Americans, but pointed out how the oppressive political correctness that has seemingly paralyzed this nation and killed common sense actually prevented these individuals with obvious problems from being identified and stopped before engaging in their terrorist acts.

He then called for a general toughening of our stance against terrorist organizations like the Islamic State group:


“We’re going to ultimately declare war on Islamic supremacists, and we’re going to say, ‘If you pledge allegiance to ISIS, you are a traitor and you’ve lost your citizenship.’

In order to facilitate such a response to the terrorists in our midst, Newt proposed resurrecting the long-dormant House Un-American Activities Committee in Congress, explaining, “We originally created the House Un-American Activities Committee to go after the Nazis.”

“We passed several laws in 1938 and 1939 to go after the Nazis,” Newt added. “We made it illegal to help the Nazis. We are presently going to have to take similar steps here. We’re going to take much tougher positions.”


Though the liberals will absolutely howl to the heavens about how the HUAC is “un-American” in and of itself, what Gingrich proposed is within reason, presuming certain limitations, oversight, and above all, due process are involved in its activities.

When young men and women here in America become radicalized and swear their allegiance to the Islamic State group or Al Qaeda or any of the multitude of other radical Islamic terror organizations around the globe, it must be made clear to them that they have in the process also forsworn their citizenship and are no longer to be considered Americans.

The Islamic State group is desperate to be seen as a legitimate nation-state. Though we would hardly describe the terrorist barbarians in such a manner, those who swear allegiance to them have knowningly turned their back on America.

Yes, this may be a drastic measure, but we are living in drastic times. Unless we want to simply sit back and ignore the rapidly growing problem while waiting to get our throats slit, as most liberals seem content to do, we must make every effort to identify and root out the Islamists plotting our demise under our own noses.

I understand the frustration but this is not the right answer. The right answer resides in immigration policy. Trump has the right answer with the ban on Muslim immigration. Many of US here have the right answer when we call for a 10 to 20 Year Ban on All Immigration. Trump and many Americans have another right answer with rare exception, and that is the elimination of gun free zones. There is another solution and that is to create an anti-terrorism unit within the FBI. Maybe there is one, but no one has mentioned it, if there is. Another is to stop glorifying this religion every time one of their sheep kill a bunch of Americans.

What if the KKK and White Supremacist organizations through some Council of American-KKK Relations were at the microphone defending their members after Dillon Root killed 9 people in Charleston? Wouldn't we find that high objectionable? Then why in the hell is some Cleric, Imam, Mullah, Sheikh or whatever they call themselves on the stage with Police Officers, Mayors, Presidents every time some crazy Muslim commits a terrorist act in the United States? When one of your members commits an atrocity against the American People, it is not your time to be on stage, to be at a microphone standing next to our leaders. This is a time when you head your ass to your Mosques and neighborhoods and shout from your lungs STOP THIS, NO MORE to your own. This is a time when you show some shame and take some responsibility for a religion that is killing people like it was ancient times. This problem isn't our problem, it is your problem, which makes you our problem and a problem that shall not be glorified by press conferences calling for some type of phony "unity".

See, Americans aren't as stupid as we may all act and look sometimes. We know that the ONLY reason you're up there on the stage is not to express your condolences, but to call for "unity" so angry Americans aren't chasing your ass down the street in retaliation. So it's all about protecting yourselves, and has nothing to do with the victims and their families.

Then there's the government. The government knew this Orlando shooter was trouble. 3 investigations. On the Terror Watch List. Then removed. Why? The Terror Watch List is a watch list. A watch list does not require a crime having been committed. Does the FBI think we're stupid? If there had been a crime committed, they wouldn't be on a "Terror Watch List", they would be a suspect in a criminal investigation like any other American suspected of a crime.

If there was enough issue to put you legitimately on a Terror Watch List, then why would you be removed? It's just a "watch list". No harm comes to you from it, so why take someone like Omar Mateen off of a Terror Watch List? If he'd been on the Terror Watch List, the FBI would have been notified of his gun purchases. That would likely trigger more investigation, perhaps some surveillance, perhaps notification of local authorities, something that would have prevented the Orlando terrorist attack.

I believe someone in a high place asked he be removed from the Terror Watch List. We need to know who that someone is.

San Bernardino, different circumstances, but again, government didn't do their jobs. How did the fiance get a visa without an interview? Someone in a high place asked it be waived and the visa rushed through. We need to know who that someone is.

We also need to know why these Muslim religious leaders are at press conferences with police, Mayors and Presidents when Muslims have committed terrorist acts. Who asked for this? Who approved it? Why? Are Christian leaders called to these press conferences every time a Christian commits a heinous crime? I don't think so. I certainly don't recall it. And they should not be.

So, a great deal of deterrence will occur if we just do these simple things:

1. 10 to 20 Year Moratorium on All Immigration (stop the flow)
2. Stop Gun Free Zones, with rare exception (defend yourselves)
3. Stop Glorifying Muslim Religion After Terrorist Acts (common sense)
4. Once Legitimately On Terror Watch List, Stay On It (diligence)
5. Enforce the Law (intelligence)
6. Investigate Who the Someones Are That Created the Holes for Terrorists to Jump Through (duty)

By the time all these "refugees" & "their families" that will come later are settled in, the House Un-American Plan will be on call to be enacted - strip refugee status, strip citizenship for terror activity. Put the big foot down. Good to know there is an avenue to get them out of the country and it is a deterrent to live & fester as a radical in the USA. We will not tolerate what EU is taking. Set them straight.

You don't strip citizenship for crimes or anything other than when naturalized citizens violate the terms of their naturalization process. In those cases, there are already provisions to reverse the citizenship and deport them.
