OK Here is Some Positive Thoughts

This is a Federal Election. When the states are bowing low from the costs and crime of illegal immigration with no help from the Feds, it will be the states that will turn this around. The states can't continue to carry the burden. CA is in a huge financial crisis. Hospitals are closing. A friend of mine who is a teacher is getting laid off. Unfortunately, this will continue, no matter who is President. Sooooooooooo our concentration will be on the states and help those states that are serious about getting illegal immigration stopped. We give our money to Senators and Congresspersons who are serious about this. WE DON'T GIVE OUR MONEY TO THE PARTIES. We give it to individual candidates who stand with US the American Citizen.

It will take a lot more pain for American Citizen to wake up and DO something. Let the pain roll in and keep on keeping on. WE ARE AMERICA.

I totally agree. It just hasn't hit enough folks yet. And wait until some of the rich in this country get socked by the socialists via taxes and start squealing about that -- the SAME people with money (over $200K per year) who have been employing these illegals for years!

All of a sudden, it will be the SOCIALISTS in control -- and no one else. Not the rich, not the middle class, but the socialists only -- with all the amnesty votes and corruption carrying them through every election.

Basically, in other words, we will be Mexico.

I mean, I hate to be pessimistic, but amnesty is the deal breaker here. With 40 million of them doubling their population every 15 years, I mean ... forget it. THIS ISSUE IS KEY, no matter what the MSM says. It will break our economy, our sovreignity, our national security.

But no one sees it yet -- just us folks here, and a few million others. But not enough, obviously.

It is weird, but many of the Californians on other sites, don't think the Illegals are causing any problems for California or the USA.

They just don't see the negatives. I find this difficult to understand.

If we lose the sanctity of the first amendment, as La Raza is pushing for, yes we will be Mexico.
They are already laying a layer of government.

This probably sounds bad. But I think that there are many Americans that don't really care. We have a generation of parents unlike previous ones. They aren't looking down the road for their children.

Example: The Dream Act ; that should have aroused parents in every state; that should have spread like wildfire across states via the college students and campuses.

Where us the uproar from the parents? They just shrugged their shoulders and said I'll just pay for their education more .

We deserve what we get if we don't make an effort to stop it.

I think you are right. We have what my husband and I call "the MacDonalds Generation" Everything is play. Now when they can't afford their toys anymore because their jobs are in jeopardy and when their kids are having a hard time getting jobs and into college. Then lets see the stuff hit the fan. THEN the vengeance will be slow in coming but once they wake up it will be full force against a government that hasn't been in their best interest. OH it will be partly their fault but the reaction will be the same because "hey I can't take responsibility for the way I voted" its the governments job to do what is right by me anyway. It will come back to bite them. Just keep talking, just keep working and it will take hold.

People do in LA even Mexican Americans! The people who don't are the people in states where they don't have millions of illegals in them... The media does everything it can to cover up the harm done by illegal aliens. Here's how the local fish rapper reports a crime done by a illegal alien

Suspect in fatal Carson crash still at large
    By Larry Altman, Staff Writer
Article Launched: 02/04/2008 11:31:27 PM PST

Roberto Carlos Paz's photograph has been splashed in newspapers and on news broadcasts. A page is devoted to him on the Web site of the television series "America's Most Wanted."
But Paz continues to elude sheriff's deputies more than a month after he allegedly fled a New Year's Day crash that killed a Carson mother and one of her 4-year-old twin sons.
"We have some leads we are pursuing," Carson sheriff's Capt. Todd Rogers said. "It's still a priority case for us."
In the weeks following the crash, prosecutors filed criminal charges against Paz, and Carson City Council members offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to his capture and conviction.
Paz, who turned 43 the day of the crash, is suspected of running a red light at Main and Albertoni streets at high speed just as Midi Mikasa and her husband, Mark, passed through the intersection with their twin sons in the back seat.
The family was on their way home at 9 p.m. from a holiday gathering.
Mrs. Mikasa, 34, died that night. Her son, Nathan, died the next morning in a hospital. Nathan's twin, Lucas, and his father are recovering from their injuries.
As Mikasa family members began mourning the deaths, deputies quickly identified Paz as the suspect behind the wheel of the badly damaged pickup truck abandoned at the scene.
As they set out to find him, they contacted his family. But locating the man with addresses in Long Beach

and Los Angeles has proved difficult.
"We don't know if he's in country or out of country," said sheriff's Sgt. Russell Shapley, who heads the traffic unit at the Carson sheriff's station.
Deputies plan to consult with Sheriff's Department investigators who search for fugitives, along with the agency's Foreign Investigations Unit, Shapley said. Paz, a native of Honduras, is wanted on a $190,000 warrant that charges him with two counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, hit-and-run causing death, and reckless driving, Shapley said. Paz, who was driving on an expired license and has four convictions for running red lights and speeding, has used multiple aliases.
Carson City Council members hope the reward passed at their Jan. 15 meeting will prompt someone to provide a much-needed lead.
The council adjourned the meeting in Midi and Nathan Mikasa's memory.
"Emotionally, it was really, really sad," Mayor Jim Dear said. "It's one of those that you hope would never take place, would never happen. That was a terrible crime the man allegedly committed."
Paz is described as Latino, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 165 to 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He might also have a mustache.
Anyone with information about Paz's whereabouts is asked to call the Carson sheriff's station at or e-mail webemail @lasd.org

Right now Hillary C. is emerging as the most popular contender. I think this is better than McCain. If the economy goes into a tailspin and there is major unemployment there will be a lot of liberal Americans out of work, too. This will have to weigh on her. A realistic budgetary outlook would conclude that it won't be possibl to raise enough taxes to produce jobs for the unemployed Americans AND people from other countries. The most likely downside would be major pressure from labor unions and leftists to expand the labor force.

I think we will have to watch and see what Democrat state legislators do as they wrestle with the particular economic problems in thier areas. How much will they wake up? As long as they are in the Party they may have a voice of moderation.

I have no doubt that the borders issue will still be hotly debated. What I have seen so far--while good in many respects --has not been articulate regarding the employment and other economic aspects. Keep hitting them about job loss!

Can you say brainwashed? They think they are supposed to live a third world life style (doing otherwise is "racist") and not have any children (to save the planet). I am not kidding, that is the mentality in liberal parts of CA.
