Republicans have caught the Democrats in a midnight “stimulusâ€

The thing to remember is that there is no money sitting somewhere. The 700 billion plus number doesn't include interest for borrowing this money which puts it over the trillion mark.

So much for openness and transparency in government. It's back to the same old same old. I tried really hard to give the Obama administration a chance because this country depends on his success. However, it looks like it will be 4 more years of the same, even worse.

This country depends on Obama's failure. Success to Obama is Socialism. I tried to give him a chance too and so far everything he has done has pissed me off. I do agree with you on the next 4 years being even worse tho.

You are right, I was actually hoping that I judged the man wrong and he really intended to do what is right. The future of this country depends on it. As we all feared, his true colors are already showing and I am afraid he is going to completely destroy what is left of our country.

Its too bad that so many Americans have sat back and allowed this to happen. They sit in the comfort of their homes more worried about what is going on in American Idol, Michael Phelps smoking pot and A-Rod doing steroids than they care about what is really happing to this country. This country is going to hell in a hand basket and the majority of Americans are doing nothing to stop it. Talk about denial!

I tried to be hopeful for him also, but it was very short lived. We saw what was coming when the rest of America did not. All we can do now is keep being a few voices for the many.
