Thread: Romney Writes Off Hispanic Voters In Selecting Paul Ryan for Ticket

I really don't think Romney would have gotten the Latino vote if he chose Rubio as his VP. From what I have read on the Dreamers blogs they don't like Rubio. Pro Immigration Activist would like us to believe that they are one big happy group, and we are racist but the truth is that there is an awful lot of hate amongst the different Latino nationalities.

On one hand the Tea Partiers were condemned as being senior citizens (baby boomers), then they say the Tea Partiers support Ryan while at the same time saying the senior citizens won't vote for Ryan. Every one of my friends that are baby boomers are not happy with Medicare, especially since Obamacare has started kicking in. Republican or Democrat we are not senile. Does Obama really think we were not going to notice that we were quoted once price for our Medicare and Supplemental only to have the price double due to Obamacare. The fact is many of us now pay more for our Health Insurance then we did before being forced to take Medicare. If we had been allowed to keep our Insurance and use vouchers we would be better off. Maybe seniors who use Medicaid might not want any changes, but the rest of us want Medicare to be reformed.

Is Romney taking a cue from one of his predecessors, will he let his VP do the leading in decisons made? Will he shut the VP down to being a lap dog? Cabinet members (and advisors) have influence in quite large degrees also. Who are they to be - unfortunately we never get that info until they win. I knew the minute Obama said Napolitano that our issue on illegal immigration would not get heard . Sec'y of State, HHS and Att'y General are as or more important to policy in action than VP by old tradition. Still listening for new info.
