Thread: Send Certified Letters to Senators

It seems many senators are not answering their phones or responding to faxes and e-mails. I think it is very hard to contact Feinstein, Calif.

CERTIFIED LETTERS: Then, what about a campaign of sending CERTIFIED LETTERS?

At the very least, someone in the senators' office has to sign for them, and when the person who sends the CERTIFIED LETTER receives the return receipt, he might feel that he is actually doing something.

These next few weeks are crucial, because it looks like the Kennedy gang is going to find a way to bring up this terrible Kennedy bill again.

So, I suggest that those of us who hate this bill should send a CERTIFIED LETTER to the home office of our senators if we can. mirse

And if you cannot afford to send many out that way, send post cards.

Camille I live in the Chicago area and as we both know neither one of our traitors in the senate are worth 2 dead flies. For me it doesn't matter, I've sent tons of emails thanking or criticizing various legislators all around the country. Obama and Durbin hear from me often but I have only received one response and that was last year when I blasted them for supporting Elvira. At that time the issue had not quite heated up and so I got this nice little letter inviting me and my family for tea and crumpets in Washington. After that my emails would bounce back. I sent them both emails Friday, haven't heard anything from either traitor.

I don't know. Since the anthrax scare, they take a long time to receive a letter in an envelope, that's why I said post cards.

Anything sent to a Senator/Congressman has to pass through an outside facility to ensure it is safe. A certified letter is no exception.

I send faxes through numbersusa and emails -- and both of these ways are responded to by way of email from my senators and congressman.

This is a little off topic, but Sen. Lott, Brownback, still have room in their mailboxes. If I come across others I will let you know.

I got a letter (snail mail) from ARLEN SPECTER telling me why he didn't like the bill!!!! LIAR!!!!

By the way, isn't there another Specter on trial in CA for murder? Arlen is trying to murder a whole country..............
