Is Starbucks a La Raza Supporter?
Hi All,
Just wondering if Starbucks is still a La Raza supporter. Last year they were on the contributor list. This year they are not.
A year ago we did a week of phone calls to Starbucks corporate office. There were only a few calls made. If they did decide to cease funding La Raza it didn't take much.
If they ARE still supporters then I'd like to start a boycott.

I did post this from what I sent State Farm in an email - feel free to use it in whole or part.
[quote]I was shocked to discover you sponsor a racist organization - La Raza - which translates into "The Race."
Racist by its inception.
Here are some quotes by Jose Angel Gutierrez, founder of La Raza:

Hmmm.....maybe I should just call their corporate office and ask? I am good at that, first, I some off as being "interested", then when I find my info, I dig my claws in, it worked with Sears and the "Aztlan" shirts. I'll give it a try and be back.

According to the customer service rep. I just spoke with, she says no, not to her knowledge, and they themselves do not list on their site who they do donate to, but she felt they did not donate or support NCLR.
So, if they are not on NCLR's list of contributors, then they probably do not at all. WHEW!!We can all breath easier!!!!!!!"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned.
