Exactly. Some think the Bracero Program was good, but it was not. It was basically the government officially sanctioning illegal immigration.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!

All for the sake of global competitiveness, especially against China!!!

That's why I think we should work harder to spread this message of the true motivation driving this issue. Replace the emotional element of racism with that of slavery!!! When contacting legislators, the media, orgs, groups, or posting comments on other sites, I think we should always mention this fact from now on!!!

I agree, the US Chamber are slave traders practicing modern day slavery, or if you wish neo-slavery.

ILLEGAL ENTRANTS ARE SCAB LABOR CROSSING THE PICKET LINE OF THE AMERICAN WORKER. THIS TAKES AWAY THE NEGOTIATING POWER OF THE AMERICAN WORKER TO GET A FAIR WAGE AND DECENT WORKING CONDITIONS.....AND SOMETIMES EVEN A JOB AT ALL.

AS LONG AS WE HAVE SCAB LABOR CROSSING OUR LABOR LINE, WORKING CONDITIONS FOR THE AMERICAN WORKER WILL CONTINUE TO DETERIORATE. DONT BE SUPRISED IF SOMEDAY WE ALL HAVE TO WORK AN ENTIRE DAY JUST TO GET A TIN CAN OF FOOD. OR MAYBE WORK ALL DAY AND THEY WILL JUST GIVE YOU A SANDWICH FOR LUNCH FOR YOUR PAY.....IF YOU GET LUNCH AT ALL THAT IS.

You're exactly right, redpony! The ultimate goal is direct competition with China in the production of cheap products!
