I did hear that Wonder Boy had in fact called this a terrorist act. Cannot recall what radio station. I was somewhat surprised that it was said so quickly, considering the Texas terror attack.
Had this went off as planned, the left would have been set back. Resolve would have been restored.
Something stinks in Denmark. Those Danes are becoming trend setters.

Janet Napolitano did nothing but make up excuses this morning on Meet the Press. Looks like she and the Department of Homeland Security are asleep at the wheel. The guy was on a terrorist watch list, his own father had warned the USA about him and he still gets a US Visa.

TSA has it's own share of blame too. This nut case boarded a plane with a substance that has already been used by the Shoe Bomber. Seems like they could have done a better job screening known terrorists.
The Obama Administration should be eating it's fair share of crow as well. While they are busy protecting the borders of Afghanistan, they are completely ignoring the borders of this country. Illegal aliens and terrorist come and go as they please.Certified Member

I heard that even after his father warned the US embassy, there was not enough "evidence" to put him on a no-fly list. The US gave him a multiple-entry visa, even after the UK denied him access.

The British are doing better on this than the US did.
The Sunday Times report, confirmed to AFP by a government source, said the UK Border Agency had rejected Abdulmutallab's request for a visa for the new six-month course at a different college because the establishment concerned was considered bogus.
"He was refused entry on grounds that he was applying to study at an educational establishment that we didn?t consider to be genuine," an unnamed government official told the newspaper.
