Thread: It is time for Arnold to hear from lots of angry Americans!!

I sent e-mails. I feel sorry for the LEGAL Americans that have lost their jobs BECAUSE of illegal immigrants and are forced to accept welfare until they get back on their feet, now AAAAHHHHnold wants to cut their benefits as well. Cut ALL services to illegals, including school, cut ALL government salaries by 30%, and confiscate ALL assets by illegals to pay for the damage they did to Cali and deport them AND their anchor babies.

Grrrr, I've lost what little respect that I had for Awnold. My email to him is below:

To the Office of the Governor,

I am writing to you as an American citizen who is out of work and is absolutely shocked at the governors dismissive attitude toward American workers and American citizens! The governor suggested that he is "happy" that illegal aliens are draining 5 billion dollars out of the state budget, yet he feels public employees are too much of a drain. This is an outrage and Governor Schwarzenegger should apologize for these comments, change his stance, and remove the illegal aliens from the welfare recipient lists as other states have done. I believe Arnold should be thrown out of office like past CA Governor Gray Davis for these positions. I'm asking my member of Congress to oppose any federal bail out money for CA until Arnold get's the illegal aliens off of welfare!" Enough is enough, political pandering or not!!

My Email to the Gov:

Dear Gov Schwarzenegger,

I have to say that I almost threw up when I heard you say that covering the illegal aliens for about 4 to 5 Billion in free services was OK and that as an American if you were somewhere and you were sick you would also want the free coverage.

Wow, I really did not believe how out of touch, and uneducated you were until I heard that.

You really need a "reality check". So here's one for you. My Father needed a liver transplant due to getting Hepatitis C when he served our country in the Navy. He rec'd Hepatitis C thru a blood transplant after being burned in a fire. At the time they did not know of Hepatitis C or have a way to check the blood for it.

Anyway, he had medical insurance, which covered some of the bills, but he also had to provide documentation that he could pay for any expenses, by selling his paid for complete house, or thru retirement benefits etc., for any bills that his medical insurance would not pay.

My parents had to list all of their financial details and sign waivers that indeed if push came to shove they would sell their home to pay any debts.

My Father had the transplant after being on a wait list for over 1 year. Unfortunately he had a reaction to the liver he rec'd and he passed away.

Shortly after that I heard of a young girl who was brought illegally into the country from Mexico to Los Angeles for a "liver transplant".

My taxes paid for the first one, then the second one and the third one, and the then the fourth one as the below article recaps:

"Ana Puente was an infant with a liver disorder when her aunt brought her illegally to the United States to seek medical care. She underwent two liver transplants at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center as a child in 1989 and a third in 1998, each paid for by the state.

But when Puente turned 21 in June, she aged out of her state-funded health insurance and the ability to continue treatment at UCLA.

...Late last month Puente learned of another, little-known option for patients with certain healthcare needs. If she notified US Citizenship and Immigration Services that she was in the country illegally, state health officials might grant her full coverage through Medi-Cal, the state health services assistance program for the poor. Puente did so, her benefits were restored, and she is awaiting a fourth transplant at UCLA.

The average cost of a liver transplant and first-year follow-up is nearly $490,000, according to the United Network for Organ Sharing. Donor livers are in scarce supply. In California, nearly 3,700 people are on a waiting list for livers, according to the network. Last year, more than 90 percent were given to US citizens.

Donor livers generally are allocated through a geographic-based distribution system on the basis of how sick the patients are and how long they have been on the transplant waiting list. Immigration status does not play a role in allocating organs. But some people say that it should.

"All transplants are about rationing," said Roy Beck, executive director of NumbersUSA, which favors stricter controls on immigration. "I just don't think the public ought to be funding any kind of benefits for people who are breaking the law."

Larry Gonzalez, a US citizen who has hepatitis C, has known for a decade that he needs a new liver but was placed on the transplant waiting list only last week.

"Why do we have to get in line behind immigrants, foreigners, when we have enough people here to fill the hospitals?" said Gonzalez, 54, who lives in Ventura."

Also it is well known that due to no longer being able to give "free" (there is nothing free about it) health care to illegal’s - at least 70 emergency rooms have closed in CA due to this free care to "illegal’s".

Illegal Aliens Drive Another Hospital To Closure

Here's a nice article from the New York Times on the recent announcement by Northridge Hospital Medical Center that they will be closing by December 31.
This follows a recent announcement of the closure of the emergency room at Elastar Community Hospital in East Los Angeles.

Four other emergency rooms have closed in the county in the last two years. The reason given is the high cost of treating uninsured people. The article also states that 70 hospital emergency rooms and trauma centers have closed in California since 1990.

As Governor of this state you took an oath of office to the CITIZENS of the USA and the state of CA. NOT Foreign Federal Law breakers.

I know that the Feds make it so the hospitals have to go bankrupt due to illegal’s so that the real citizens pay the price of not having emergency rooms to go to in many areas of CA - but that does not mean you have to look the other way and let the off the hook and onto my back, on other areas where you can cut.

Now is the time to hold Mexico accountable for what it is doing to the citizens who live in the state of CA. Why is it that they are allowed to put millions of their citizens on my back, so that I get to pay for their education?, their welfare, food stamps, tattoo removal?

Where in the Constitution of the United States of America does it say, and in CA the citizens will be forced to pay for Foreign Federal Law breakers - giving them "freebies" that even the citizen does not qualify for?

As a Daughter of the American Revolution whose family came to American in 1640, and signed documents against the British in 1776, I find it disgusting what you are doing to hard working American citizens, whose families have given and given and given and given to this country, only to hear you say that you love giving 4 to 5 billion in Freebies to Foreign Federal law breakers, i.e. illegal aliens.

Of course you do, it is not your money and not your heritage.

I went to a friends party yesterday and one of the guest said that quote. I told him that I had just read that! So funny. Unfortunately we certainly were the minority regarding that mentality at this party.
