Tony Snow repeatedly refers to 'immigrants', conveniently lumping legal and illegal immigrants together. I don't doubt that legal immigrants are a net positive for society but our concern is about ILLEGAL immigrants. Common sense dictates that someone with a 7th grade education, no job skills to speak of and 2 kids (at least) is going to pay so little in taxes that they end up using far more in benefits and services than they contirbute.

Yes, the Snowjob.....
Even the verbiage is questionable. Did he mean immigrants LITERALLY or LIBERALLY? Immigrants as in those who have legally immigrated here, those here on temporary visas, or illegal aliens. Or, DUH, all of the above?
31scout asked, "How the heck can a worker making $6 and hour, 2 or 3 kids, be a contributor to the economy???????????????????????" Remember, it's the New World Economy: Credit card debt!! Buy all (even more!) of the things you think you need today, try to pay tomorrow, and get DEEP into debt. Watch those interest rates soar into the high 20% range, hidden fees, all compliments of Bank of Mexico. While they are artifically propped up, they get a no-money-down mortgage on a home where they can put all their new stuff. Then let the elite Council determine the GDP and correlate it to low unemployment figures while the "immigrants" file Bankruptcy because the debt load can't be managed.
