Thread: Is it Treason?

In law, treason is the crime that covers some of the more serious acts of disloyalty to one's sovereign or nation. Historically, treason also covered the murder of specific social superiors, such as the murder of a husband by his wife (treason against the king was known as high treason and treason against a lesser superior was petit treason). A person who commits treason is known in law as a traitor.

Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as: "...[a]...citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the [parent nation]." In many nations, it is also often considered treason to attempt or conspire to overthrow the government, even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavour.

Unfortunately, the kid came here on a legal visa (a multiple entry visa, which I heard yesterday), so we can't call him illegal -- yet. The Brits denied him entry to come and study at a bogus college, his own father told the US embassy in Nigeria that he was worried his kid was getting screwy, but we still give him a visa. Also there is the story from the husband and wife attorneys who observed a very well-dressed man from India talking the kid onto the plane without the kid's passport. Huh?

I think it is treason. However, as usual, nothing will be done. When are Americans going to get fed up with this garbage and do something about it. Are we the only ones who care about the future of this country.

Unfortunately, too many Americans are worried about their every day existences, like keeping the home and feeding the family, to be able to pay attention to the greater picture. This all is a wag-the-dog distraction from the fundamental problems.

I'd have to say it is treason, but agree with Redpony, it is saying they have brains, and apparently do not....

Can we get them on it though? Boy would I love to see Janet Napolitano get tried and convicted.

We are the only ones who can stop the runaway train that is trying to destroy our country and our way of life.
