"I live and work in a state overrun with illegals. They make more money having kids than we earn working full-time. Today I had a 25-year old with 8 kids - that's right 8; all illegal anchor babies and she had the nicest nails, cell phone, hand bag, clothing, etc. She makes about $1,500 monthly for each; you do the math. I used to say, "We are the dumbest nation on earth." Now I must say and sadly admit: WE are the dumbest people on earth (that includes ME) for we elected the idiot idealogues who have passed the bills that allow this. Sorry, but we need a revolution. Vote them all out in 2010. "

Get mad and pass it on - I don't know how, but maybe some good will come of this travesty.
If the immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004 .
She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22.'
It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month.
This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.
Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!
Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470. Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years. And not to receive a increase for 2010 Vote them all out of office.
Please forward this to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing for the past 11 years to over-taxed Americans.

Yes , for the most part it is true

I see it every day in wic and food stamps

they get free medical , subsidized rent and even help with buying
appliances and vehicles

Anchor babies are good for every benefit in our welfare society , the more kids the more free goodies

Its not rocket science , Most of us have a hard time just making ends meet , yet these people can send thousands back to their home countries?

Its not rocket science to figure it out , they are all getting a free ride and YOU are paying for it.

Well I know it is true but $1500 per month for each anchor baby? That is disgusting! This from a mom who could not afford the $500 baby carriage that the illegals get given to them free from charities. A co-workers was buying squid because it was the only protein she could afford to feed her kids. As state employees we were eligible for food stamps but denied. Another co-worker was a single mom of 2, classified as a temporary worker with no benefits yet when she passed out at work and the ambulance was called she was liable for the entire bill despite that we knew income wise she qualified for aid.

Pretty sure it varies from state to state. I have no doubt that there are some living a very lavish lifestyle, where they have found they can work the system; could be deadbeats, too. Whatever it is, they are not needy and desperate and US citizens are losing their homes. Of course, Obama will take care of his friends.....It just totally s-----!

Its Criminal, we have been embezzled into oblivion and our governments condescending attitude toward us is Treasonous. Coddle the illegal scoff at Americans.

Don't forget the earned income credit if they have a part-time job and file taxes to get it. Last year I believe it was about $1,500 per child regardless if you had a tax liability or not. Thats tax payer money being re-distributed to lower income in the form of a welfare payment.

HOW COULD THEY BE SO UNCARING FOR THEIR OWN CITIZENS, THE ONES WHO PAY THEIR SALARIES EVERY LAST ONE OF THESE BAS***DS NEED TO RECEIVE THEIR PINK SLIP COME NOVEMBER AND THE WAY THEY TALK, THERE WON'T BE A COLA FOR 2011 EITHER. BTW, THERE ARE MILLIONS OF HOMELESS U.S. CITIZENS, AND THERE IS NO MONEY FOR SECTION EIGHT HOUSING AND NOW WE ALL KNOW WHY. THERE ARE LONG WAITING LIST FOR THIS HOUSING. HOW IN THE H*LL CAN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT JUSTIFY THIS BS THEY ARE TAKING CARE OF CITIZENS OF ANOTHER COUNTRY, WHILE THEIR OWN CITIZENS ARE HOMELESS AND HUNGRY. READING THIS HAS REALLY ANGERED ME TO NO AVAIL. I KNOW OF A WOMAN WHO IS SLOW (MENTALLY THAT IS) AND SHE NEVER WORKED BECAUSE OF IT, WHEN SHE WENT TO APPLY FOR SS, SHE WAS TOLD THAT SINCE SHE DIDN'T PAY INTO THE SYSTEM SHE DID NOT QUALIFY FOR SS BENEFITS. THE WOMAN IS MENTALLY CHALLENGED SO HOW COULD SHE WORK THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN HER SSI IF NOTHING ELSE. HOW LOW DOWN IS THAT FOR OUR GOVERNMENT

We are not even properly informed. Now that I am at that age I am learning so many horror stories. We think that we will get our husband's benefits if they die but we are denied. People count on that! I know a woman who became disabled and she also was denied her Social Security payments because they said her husband makes too much. She says he does not because they have no extra to save for retirement but that is the way they count. Now what if she wanted out of her marriage? She worked all those decades for her Social Security. She is an economic prisoner in that marriage because she has been denied what is rightfully hers.
